Been a few since then in MX2 but I can't think of anyone else in MXGP

Edit: Just remembered Anstie 2019 Lommel I believe he was on Standing Construct KTM

It’s only 28 which is 81-82F. This is not that hot. I’m surprised Gajser looked so spent.

Hot compared to what they're used to riding in, only 30% humidity too. I'd much rather ride in this weather than the 13⁰ or so that they usually ride in.

CV10 is riding amazing... one las push to win the race?
Yeah he looked terrible in the interview. Red as a tomato, drool hanging off his chin. Looked like he was doing a ghost pepper challenge.

He came into the weekend sick, and I guess it was bad, because his girlfriend is missing her first race in six years

That would explain it, riding looked so - so for his standards.

What a awesome way to get ones first overall. A great day for the Dutch as well as the South African MX community.

15 May....the Sardegna Massacre. Vlaanderen owned it.

What a race from Vlaanderen! Just another level and made it look so easy. Herlings vibes.

Same goes to other end Watson finished last on his Factory Kawasaki as he been known "sand rider" before?

If you can’t get 30 riders at the start of a world champioenschap then something is seriously wrong....that’s what you get when people are in charge who only do it for the money... and not for the sport...🤐🤐🤐

Riola Sardo track is just not made for spectating.

It's fairly normal to have far fewer spectators on Saturday, at most GPs.

But, Sardegna is among Dunes, and I daresay the club is not allowed to do anything other than the most basic of clearing.

So, there won't be many spectators to see, which will please the usual wankers that want to bleat about it.

How the organizers recoup the Luongo Mega Charges to have a GP there, I do not know. It's a great track, but not conducive to big crowds.

Maybe that utter arsehole Luongo runs / promotes it, like I think he does Maggiora and Mantova, so he doesn't charge himself the exorbitant fees that others have to pay?

Just a guess but with how much they mention Sardegna on the broadcast and the Sardegna banners and imagery around the track I think it's probably paid for by the Sardinian government, or at least a decent chunk of it is

If you subtract the teammembers, media, infront people and people from the club/circuit then it looks really awfull.

Great track & great races. Just imagine it with 40 guys on the gate and 25.000 fans 😍

Just rewatched the race. Are we sure that wasn't Herlings on Vlaanderen's bike? Man, he looked absolutely insane. I got goosebumps from his interview, can tell that meant the world to him.

The speed that Vlaanderen was carrying in that sand was almost Herlings-esque. Absolutely mental how quick he was!
