Sexton looked great late in 2020 on a 450 outdoors since then he has had signs of brilliance, but many blunders.

I never get the hurry to push riders into 450 class 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ and then fans wonder why some are burnt out by 27yo. Why can it not be let them grow physically & mentally🤷♂️🤷♂️ To me Chase is still a kid in big boys class.
It doesn’t seem like he’s struggling with the bike or fading, but you can tell when kicks it up a notch too far and how his riding was before he goes down.
It seems that on a 450, he hasn’t found that sweet spot where he can settle into a pace and just get the race itself complete without going down.
As a fan, I'm patient.
He'll get it together soon.
We'll see the same from the Lawrence bros.
Just like we've seen most of the top riders in their past.
This kid could have a helluva future if he can find a way to reign in his natural talent and make it communicate effectively with his brain. I'm cheering for him - seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders.
Pit Row
If that's "new breed".....keep the old school.
Plessenger, Malcolm, Adam, Ferrandis, Wilson, Anstie, Savatgy have been in the 450 SX class far longer than Sexton and out of the 7 factory riders listed not one has a main event win. Sexton is young!
Can you say the same for the folks that have been in the Big- Boy class for Ten+ years and have yet to crack the top Ten?
Post a reply to: What's it gonna take for Sexton to get his head on right and be an actual contender?
