He's 32 years old, never fell out of shape, and is one of the greatest motocross racers ever. I don't think it would take a miracle at all to top 5 if he's prepared.

Holy shit! Wasn’t planning on going to Budd’s Creek this year, but if Cairoli and Dunge stick it out past the first couple rounds, I’m absolutely gonna have to make the trip. Red Bull KTM 2022 MX team is one for the books, lol

5 years is a loooooong time. 6 years if you count the last time he raced outdoor.

For reference, The last time he raced outdoors Cooper Webb and Herlings were 250 riders, James Stewart was racing, and Obama was president

I like this news and it makes sense but kinda feel bad for Savatgy, Anstie and McElrath. Maybe "there's a chance" for them on Austrian bikes after the CA rounds or on Japanese bikes.
