Kid got DQ'ed from the 125 Dutch Masters for... peeing on the track.

That's a new one to me.

Peeing ON the track seems silly and disrespectful, imagine splashing through a puddle of fresh warm piss while trying to throw down a fast lap. Id be "pissed"! Call me a hillbilly, but walking over to the bushes to drain out seems like no big deal. Hell we do it all the time around here. This particular case it seems like there are 2 sides to the story so I guess it depends on how it really happened.

Thats isnt how i read it ... he was disqualified for adjusting his tackle in the holding area, and broke the rule that is in place saying you cant undo your pants in the holding area, which is to stop riders peeing in public view, which isnt a big deal to the Dutchies, generally , but 'do gooders' have complained in the past.

Do gooders or not, who pees where people can see them? For God's sake walk over to a bush but not out on the track or any place you can be seen.

I saw Damon Bradshaw take a piss in the doghouse on starting gate at a supercross back in the day, San Jose I think.

***Sigh***.........

Have you ever been to a national? I guess you haven't. They have a thing called " The sighting lap ". Guys have been hydrating for quite some time before they even line up for it. Then once they get out there , nerves set in and you realize " I'm not going to make it 35mins of riding my ass off before I gotta piss! " So you get what happens in the pic that Ezza posted.

This is normal! I've literally seen it happen probably 100 times in all the nationals I've been too. A dude has to go , when he has to go! Jesus , some of you dudes in here crack me up.

I know in the MXGPs, it is either a 500 euro or 5000 euro fine for any rider caught pissing somewhere, NOT in a urinal/toilet. That's why you'll see some guys hammer out their sighting lap.

Extensive testing has shown an empty bladder is the difference between a holeshot and a midpack start 😉

And yet every single animal on earth , pisses on the ground.
But I guess now days , with the easily offended crowd that throw up complaints on everything , I can't say I'm surprised.

I'd say it's more about looking professional... I mean, you don't see footballers (soccer or NFL) having a piss on a pitch, and that's grass. It's just in case a broadcast camera is shooting something and a rider is pissing into the ground in the background or whatever, doesn't give a good impression.

That being said, it doesn't surprise me a foreign rider was penalised in another national series, one bit. Communication and rule interpretation isn't always as easy as it should be.

I'll reserve judgment since I wasn't there and don't know the circumstances. Was there a pot available, did he have time to find one before gate drop? I remember being in Europe years ago and using the public toilets. There always seemed to be an old lady custodian sitting there staring at your back as you pissed. I can't believe anyone was really offended. Probably a protest by a competitor.

I have been to more than one national over the last four decades and haven't seen one rider pissing where they could be seen. Not saying you haven't seen it at a National just sharing my experience. SX however is another story. The doghouse was the outhouse for years until the AMA cracked down.

What National tracks have you visited?

It’s just the soccer fans throwing urine bombs on the pitch, not the actual player peeing on the pitch.Silly Silly
