Yes! I’m just too busy to wash and oil filters.
What are you using instead?

I still use the TwinAir PowerKit, I just buy the pre-oiled filters, use them for 2 rides, then sell them.

Thanks! It fit's pretty flawlessly. The selling point for me was how far up goes on the frame.
The wait time really wasn't too bad (2.5 weeks). I just ordered a pipe guard from CMT as well
so when I get that, I'll post some pics.

Received my exhaust a few weeks ago and now my XTrig clamps finally arrived, waited six weeks for them. Parts are finally coming off of back order. Next on the list foot pegs, graphic kit, and send the suspension out.

Did you find a better way to get it shipped? When I look at their site the only shipping option cost more than the heat shield.

No I didn’t. I only saw the cheapest option being 70+. I looked on the site for a different choice, but that was the lowest I could find. If they have more things in carbon fiber you are thinking about getting, get it. The shipping should be the same with multiple pieces. On a side note, their stuff is excellent. It’s very well made!!

Congrats on finding one. The bike greatly benefits by a spring change and revalve. FC in PA or NH has some good settings for the bike.

Seems to be the general consensus. I've worked with FC a few times. Going to do a break in ride Saturday, curious to see how off it is.

Seems like a lot of people are keeping the stock bars. I am a die hard renthal 997 bar bend fan. New bar seems to be the same except just not as tall. Anyone swap bars yet?

Stock bars are great for me, coming off a Yamaha as a taller rider (6 foot), the cockpit is super comfortable on the Honda.

Finally got to ride after winter on the Factory Connection suspension. Stiffer springs front and rear and a revalve. So much better. The bike was just way too soft stock for me, even though I’m 160 pounds. Only way to describe it is it gives me the confidence and comport feel of the Yamaha through rough stuff, but it still turns great. The stock setting just feels so bound up and low in the stroke, front and rear. Now it feels settled and compliant, and the harsh feeling is gone.

Do you guys like having the bars pusher further to the front of the bike? Mine came with them close and I liked my Yamaha that had them in the middle

Anyone know a dealership in the southeast that has one, or can get one? I’m striking out with every dealership I call, curious if I just need to wait for the ‘23s at this point.

For those of you that like the FC suspension what kind of riding/terrain are you on? I thought it was good on the mx track but then on roots and rocks its pretty harsh mid-stroke. If you can go fast enough its OK but that's not always possible on some of the east coast enduro style trails I ride. I've read that more sag may help so planning to try that this weekend before I send it back to FC for a third try (I'm at ~106 right now). I really like the motor and handling but the forks are not working for me.

It's really hard to get suspension that works well for MX and woods riding. I have always had this issue. I ride mainly MX but we have a couple local woods tracks that I enjoy as well. Your really never going to find a set up that works great for both because the terrain, speed, etc are so different from one another. I've had FC and race tech suspension on different bikes and have always ran into this issue.

True! I think the FC settings were good for mostly MX. Unfortunately I'm the opposite - riding woods more these days. So I'm really hoping to get rid of that mid-stroke harshness in these forks. I'm OK with it being soft for MX. Just don't want to spend too much more time or money on it if FC doesn't have a solution. They have a new piston kit that they are talking about trying out but I didn't get the feeling they were very confident it would work for what I'm looking for. Just curious if anyone had any success making it more of a woods bike. I may try throwing a mousse in the front to see if that helps as well.

Hit up Jake at Factory Connection in PA. Tell him Max said to get some stiffer springs and whatever revalve they did for me. It’s killer.

The harshness is because it’s too soft and you’re too far down in the stroke.

I’m mostly riding sand but I ride some woods stuff to and from the truck/track and it works well.

But just curious if anyone else had bought one from them and how long it took for yours to come in?

Did you have any issues with your bike wanting to start after you put your vortex on? I calibrated my TPS and the bike will only crank.

I think the suspension works perfectly for the track stock as is. I like it better then my stock 2021 yz250f suspension.

It already has stiffer springs. Right now it has 5.7kg on the rear and and .51kg in the forks. Hopefully we can find something that works better this round.

I’m sending my Vortex ECU and Cylinder to XPR Motorsports (I also purchased XPR’s piston and CAM). I’m waiting for a deal to close before dialing my bike in.
