Does Tomac think about how good Andersons bike is when he gets passed?

After andersons radiator cap fell off, there was mucho speculation that Tomac laughed as he rode by Anderson. How does Tomac feel when he gets passed by Anderson? And Anderson stopped all of Tomacs pass attempts and won. Maybe Tomac is thinking about how good his old bike was! Tomac knows how good the factory KX is, he developed it. Tomacs gotta be thinking, "I could always beat JA" not anymore

Tomac was convinced that the bike wouldn't get better for him. Anderson's speed is no reason to think anything would have changed. He already knew the bike worked great for Adam.

I think it’s funny and I’ll bet Eli is part “WTF?” & part “It figures!”.

Doesn’t anyone-else see the Stoke they share when they’re making each-other throw every last ounce of talent into racing for this championship? Have you watched the post-race pressers?

These dudes are having fun and sharing laughs.

I think seeing Jason come to fruition on the Kawi makes Eli laugh.

Y’all are crazy if y’all think Tomac has any disdain for Kawasaki. Tomac knows the kx450 is a good bike. He thought he could get better feel on the yz. It’s as simple as that.

You know Tomac didn’t need to win that moto to win the overall right? I guarantee Tomac knew that, and let him by. Anderson is fast, but he seems like a very low IQ guy that does a lot of dumb shit on the track. T boned Kenny, Malcolm, takes himself out every other week. Team Fried bruh ferrrrr sherrrrr

You know what Eli is a class act. The BS isnt coming from him. Its the media and fans. When asked about his new bike and how it compares to his old KX, he didnt say oh its waay better! he said ummm its better in some ways and not in others. Eli is a good guy and the media is trying to create drama and they need a story. But the media needs to change its story.

I will politely bring up the time at Glendale when JA had to try so hard to match Eli's pace that he flew into a tuffblock and ruined his own night (race 2 of the triple crown).

I'm a big Eli fan so I'm biased, but if he wanted to get Anderson at the 3rd race of the Triple Crown if he needed to or if it was just a regular main event he would've imo. With that said Anderson looks amazing on that Kawi this year and has straight up passed Eli a few times. But a cornered desperate Eli is scary and the fastest guy in the world. If they stay healthy this season is gonna be amazing. Those two changing teams was a been a great move on both of their parts. Outside ofSexton no one is hanging with them.

I think it's more likely that Anderson is saying "why did I stay on that Husky so long".... But the changes have sure been good for both.

Why do people assign so much negativity to Eli? The dude ACTUALLY SMILES & shares laughs AND PROPS with the guy he’s currently RACING AGAINST FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Personally, I’m pretty damn stoked for him and Jason.

Sooooo many people up in here should learn to share the stoke like they have. Respect between serious competitors is the thing that real sport is made of.

Take a page from McGrath’s book and recognize.

I'd bet both guys are happy with their recent team switch. Both appear to have improved on consistency and overall happiness this year. Like them both and would be happy if either wins the championship but I'm on the ET wagon til the end!

Outdoors will be an absolute blast to watch with Eli having a cable clutch and more hp! I feel sorry for those berms and clutch plates.

Yea, i'd say Eli got passed more time this year by JA21 than his entire career before. Until this year, Jason has never been a threat to ET3. Even 2018 when Jahzion got the title, he won 3 mains vs 8 for Eli. It's Anderson year !

Eli is probably a little worried wondering why he can't seem to pass him and make it stick. As a racer, this would be a concern.

As far as Jason being on his old bike I think he could care less about that.

One of them will make a mistake at some point and the points gap will widen. Who knows which one though.

I think they are both having a really good time. I'm sure each one would be way happier to be 25+ points ahead, but they are having fun.

Admittedly, Tomac was never one of my favorite riders. ...but I definitely respected his amazing talent. He always seemed aloof, guarded...stoic. In hindsight...I kinda get that now. I'd probably be the same. I'm not into social media, sharing every ridiculous life detail and I wouldn't want anyone digging into every aspect of my life constantly either. He was also a headcase and you never knew who was going to show up from week to week. It's easy to judge someone....but very few of us really grasp what pressure these guys are under.


All that seems to have changed. He's a lot more personable, carefree (without going overboard) and just seems to be enjoying the sport now...at least from this viewers perspective.

I like it and have come to appreciate him much more.
