Yeah the scoop tire is nuts for straight line deep sand hook up. But I need a sand tire for a hard base under the sand. I want the front to stick like glue. The rear is not as important but still is.
If you are digging through sand to a harder base I would try the Pirelli mid-soft. I think it throws sand the best of the non-sand tires. The Dunlop MX12 might work in that case too, but I think a mid-soft will work better any time you are not in deep sand. If there is a hard base there are probably parts of the track that are not deep sand or very little sand at all.

I am looking for lightweight tires. My favorite setup is Hoosier IMX25 front 30 rear, second place is Pirelli and then Starcross is third. I haven't tried Dunlop in a while, do they still chunk the knobs off? Pirelli's also chunk the knobs off but they feel a lot lighter on the bike. Hoosiers don't chunk the knobs at all so far and I had a lot of them, they do wear really fast but I always flip the rear and It's like a new tire again.

Inventory is really good right now on 25's and 30's. Newest Gen part #'s 07193 (IMX20, IMX25, IMX30), 110/90-19. 07203 (IMX20 IMX25, IMX30) 120/80-19. They also have a new front 07114 MX25F, MX30F 80/100-21, It is narrower and a touch shorter than the 07113 (MX25S, MX30S) which is also still available and being produced.

OG for the 110/90-19 was 07190 (different mold), then it went to 07191, 07192, 07193 is current. Difference from 07192 to 07193 is added stiffness.

We have been using the Metzler MC360's and in all honestly they seem to work pretty well, can also speak for the MX33's gripping good on hard pack as well as softer clay/sand. Just my .02.

Thx the Pirelli mid soft sounds like a Great tire for Millville, it’s a hard base under neath.

Chapmoto has the fronts cheaper than the kawasaki parts list. I think any Dunlop dealer can get them. The rears you can get from the kawasaki parts list from the kx250 and kx450. You can only get the oem 100 and 120 though, and I bet they are expensive. They might be on the Honda parts list too. I see Dunlop tires listed on the 2019 crf250r, and I know it had mx3s standard. I think the 450 did too. They are on the 2019 Yz250fx list too and it says mx3s. The rear is a 110/100/18.

Also if you give them a call and talk to them they will help out on price typically. Tim gerhardt is the guy running the moto side at hoosier tire west. Good people there and have been ordering my tires from him since they came out. I'm getting ready to order 2 or 3 sets this week if anyone wants to get in and see if we can get a group buying price.

Yes the time before last I didn’t realize they were the c100’s. Supposedly stiffer carcass.. I adjust psi +\- 1-2psi depending on track conditions and I was in the same range as with the original ones. Same amount of grip. I switched from a 2stroke to a 350 and the rears arnt lasting as long but that’s probably because of extra torque. Wasn’t getting knobs cracking on the 2stroke but I’m getting 3 races and a couple practices out of my rears now before I start tearing knobs off. My current rear went pretty quick but I raced on a track that got hardpack second moto which definitely kills them quick.

The Michelins are superior to the dunlops in every way. I threw my 33s in the trash can. AA rider btw if that means anything. Try the Michelins. Soft front medium rear for me

I had like 5 of those and I was pissed when I used the last one.

That being said the M59 front is the best front I've found for an all around tire. I'd love to branch out but tires are expensive. Lots of love for Starcross 5's in this thread. Any reviews of the Starcross 6?

That being said the M59 front is the best front I've found for an all around tire. I'd love to branch out but tires are expensive. Lots of love for Starcross 5's in this thread. Any reviews of the Starcross 6?
I hv 2 756,s on this 2 hr bike. Another new never mounted 756. Dunlop 773 front and rear never mounted.

I grabbed some tires from my Dad’s farm yesterday. I had them up stairs in the horse barn it’s connected to the barn. Couple 756, 737, front 490, 756f from my original 04. Quite a few up there yet more 756,s, Bridgestone m57,59,etc. and

4 hurricane rocket wheels.
