I know Instagram doesn't show up for everyone so here's what it says:

Hey guys I hate to post this news but unfortunately this week I had a practice crash getting ready for San Diego. Grade 3 spleen laceration and compression fractures in T7 and T8 in my back. I’m gutted to say the least. The team and I have been working hard to bring our best every weekend. I appreciate there support through all of the good and bad! The main goal now is to heal up right and completely before we get back to racing. I will keep y’all informed of how long I will be out as we know a little more. Thanks to everyone for the support I will be back better and stronger

Here's for a fast recovery, I was cheering for him to get his first win this season.

Nobody talks about it, but he got a win last year in his rookie season. Kid is way under the radar in my opinion

You are right, had to check it myself. I got caught with all the attention other riders are getting that I oversaw this. Another reason why I like him, the quiet underdog who puts the work and let results do the talk, reminds me of Tomac.

I know you can never predict when a crash happens but it seems like we see it every year that a rider goes out during the season. I get you need to keep pushing hard and practicing but at some point could you see teams and riders backing off their training during the season?

He’s been battling injuries since amateurs I think. If he can keep it upright I think we could see him sneak a title down the road. He’s shown speed and consistency

Major disappointment to hear. He’s been killing it in supercross. 250 class is already thin right now too.

Darn it. Heal up quick young man.

He has a great style when he’s riding too. Fun to watch!

That is a dang shame as the kid was right in the mix for the championship "if" he stayed healthy.
What hell did Pro Circuit do to get all this bad luck these past few years.

What a shame. Seems like a good kid. I like how he put himself in good spots and stayed cool through the race.

Looks like the number one plate fairy just came to Christian Craig‘s house and put his number one plate and championship Trophy under his pillow.

Bummer! He was probably about to get a win with how he's been riding. West is thin.
