Bad quality beans they over roast to hide the inefficiencies of the beans they buy. Some people like to drink charcoal and others like to drink good coffee.

Their coffee is excellent and the Rittenhouse deal is a prime example of the game of telephone. I’m are huge 2A guy and that is an extremely important issue to me. There was nothing wrong with their CEO distancing themselves from that event. In his statement he said that he didn’t want to profit from a tragedy. That’s a good thing.

Put the thumbs whichever way you want or delete the post. I don’t care but I had to speak my mind because there’s a lot of misinformation about that whole deal.

I didn’t drink coffee until my 50s because all i had experienced was bitter coffee in my teens. Some really good stuff out there if you are willing to try. About 30c/cup if you brew your own. Haven’t been a fan of RD so far but may try again. Will try BRCC just to see, since they support TP.

Starbucks has been supporting troops since before it was cool, they were shipping coffee by the pallet over to Iraq and Afghanistan since 2000, the troops had more Starbucks coffee than they knew what to do with they have also been hiring veterans and had veteran hiring and retainment plans since the early 2000s they did all of this quietly without putting it all over the place because they are an apolitical company.

Back around 2016 they got a lot of hate for putting out some statement about “not supporting the GWOT” when the reality is that wasn’t even true. It was actually a smear campaign that blew up and inflated an otherwise non relevant issue

But hey let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good public outrage story

Well since you bring it up. I've been to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and a couple other shit holes and the only thing I ever saw from Starbucks was a few cups. Dunkin on the other hand was pretty prevalent.

Starbucks is the company that tolerates their baristas not serving law enforcement officers. Starbucks will never see a penny of my money. I know they'll never miss my money but it makes me feel better.
