Yeah, and IIRC he has two decent homes. I believe he said he just rents the old one out but still owns it. Those sites are rarely accurate though, especially considering it isn’t someone who’s “famous”.

Not that I really care, but is $1.5million net worth a lot in the US?

I would think net worth includes the sum of all your assets (cars, bikes, house, property, etc.) plus savings and income? I don’t have anywhere near that amount, but I can see how a successful middle aged person could easily accumulate that, or more.

Net worth is a fascinating thing, but it means very little unless you factor in a person's liabilities.

Three examples:

1. You have assets totaling 11.5 million and liabilities totaling 10 million. Your net worth is 1.5 million, but you are feeling very stressed, because you're very "leveraged."

2. You have assets totaling 6.5 million and liabilities totaling 5 million. You're feeling pretty good, as your net worth, while still 1.5 million, is a much larger percentage of your overall asset/liability totals.

3. You have assets totaling 1.75 million and liabilities totaling .25 million. Like the other two examples, your net worth is also 1.5 million, but you are living like a boss, because no one has any real leverage on you. This is especially true in inflationary economies like the one we're in now, as your assets will rise while your debt stays rather flat, as banks want your business.

Just thought I'd add a little context.

Some days get boring at work until something goes wrong. Actually was listening to an old podcast Steve was doing with rv and he asked him if he had 40 million in the bank. My bored self went down a rabbit hole after that. I was googling everyone from John madden to Steve lol

More power to him. Hope it doubles next year. That means more people/company believe this industry is a good marketing tool to get there product known! Strong future for the sport. I remember not to long ago, this didn’t feel like the case. Good for Steve. He has definitely put in the work.
