Now that everybody knows what the KTMs will look like and IMOP it’s not that exciting (orange team seat is bad), I can’t wait to see the front of the Huskys. Looks are kinda important because I’m sure all Austrian bikes will work awesome.

Yep... Love the 18 Huskies. My favourite looking bike since the 04 YZ and 05 RM series. Just such a nice shape, clean, modern, no weird angles and shit.

I may be. The fugly split right side plate? 18 didn't have it?

Yeah '18 was the last year for the clean design. I agree with you on the '19, they really screwed up a good thing.

Is this guy crazy? KTM stands behind their stuff way better than the Japanese and the quality is head and shoulders above them also.

It started with the 18.5 Rockstar Edition. So the 18 SX season had those bikes, which is probably why you are thinking it's 18.

The RedBull KTM graphics are pretty tacky to me tho. Too many colors IMO - red, yellow, blue, white, orange, green, black

That theory didn't work for me with the '19-22 Huskys. Terrible-looking bike. I'm intrigued by the spy photos of the 22.5 Husky, based on that pic in the thread. Regardless, looks are only part of it, as I'm sure the bikes will work great. But I don't love the 22.5 KTM looks so far (loved the 16-18 and 19-22 though) and hope the Husky looks better (16-18 were awesome, 19-22 not so much.)
Oh yeah man, the 16-18 Husky’s looked cleannn. Once they switched to the split number plates, it was a major downgrade aesthetically imo. I still scratch my head on that design

Absolutely. The 18 was so sleek and clean and the 19 was kinda clunky and weird. It didn't look like a natural progression like the 18 to 19 KTM, which was cool. When I first saw the GasGas, my initial reaction was "that should've been the 19 Husky plastics." That would've made sense to me. Regardless, wouldn't keep me from buying one but it's just fun to talk about.

IMHO the 16 to 18 KTM is best looking bikes they've ever made. The 18.5 to 22 look similar but more like the older KTM,s . Seeing the possible 2023 I just ordered new graphics for my 2018.5 FE... Looks like I will be riding it for awhile....

It actually looks pretty cool here. The pic above with the guy riding the 4stroke, it doesn't look as cool. Maybe the pipe-side is just not as good looking?

You're right, but here's the unedited photo of the Kawi

I photoshopped this together . the ralley KTM had a similar looking shroud to the 2023. So I took the Husky ralley bike and combined it with some of the 2021 and a little drawing to shape the sideplate and get the parts to kinda work together. Its a quick and dirty concept. I've only seen the images posted on here so I have no idea what they will really look like.

Don't understand why KTM/Husky/Gas make their front fender so short.

I don’t think they are much different then Other brands? The angle there may make it look shorter then it is.

Sounds stupid and non important to function but I've actually measured out the fender vs other brands, definitely shorter anywhere from 1-3 inches. Agreed that the angles can make it look shorter than is.

What’s the negative to it being shorter? Seems to perform just as well.
