I grew up with a dry, slick and sometimes rocky Saddleback, a muddy half day or less then concrete slick Carlsbad where you had to rail the outside to stay up. Now we can’t ride unless it ripped and watered and fluffed up like a horse race track. Evolution they call it.
1.18 rounds
2. Months more (than US) to test outdoor setup
3. No production rule - more freedom to develop their bikes.
Correct me if I'm wrong...I can take a kick in the ol bean bag.

Here you go guys. Your welcome.
The dude is a monster and amazing to watch.
The euro vs american thing is not a good comparison of skills and abilities. I doubt Herlings, Gajser, Prado, Febvre or Cairoli would get into the top 5 in a SX race.
I also doubt Tomac, Webb, Anderson, Ciancirulo or Barcia would get into the top 5 in a GP. Especially not any sand tracks.
If the euros used the same time and effort practicing SX from a young age as the US riders do we would get a fair comparison.
Same goes for the US riders and euro style mx tracks.
If Tomac or Webb focused solely on MXGP they would be a MXGP champions. If Herlings or Febvre focused on SX from a young age they would be champs in the US.
And yes. I am from europe.
I’m hoping the lady that comes to clean it is a Tomac fan and will leave it up there.
IMO because SX is so important to teams riders specialise - just compare the amount of time spent training & the conditions for each discipline compared to MXGP.
