Do you know if he's on the KYB air forks like Dylan this outdoor season?

Is PPG a personal sponsor of his? I thought it was one of Kawasaki's sponsors, but he still has the logo on his jersey.

Would love to hear his honest first impressions of the bike compared to his KX…too bad they never give us that..

It’s different. But they’ve been with eli for awhile. I believe they sponsor the TLD team as well or they did. They provide the paint at tld too? I lived with a guy who was a helmet painter at TLD and remember him telling me this.

Wow. Okay, that's a long time.

Would be interesting to know how that relationship came to be. Still odd considering it's a paint company.

I hope he likes his new dirt bike, that thing is sexy as dick!
It would look better if it were yellow and black, though.

Congrats to Eli on the new ride. With the last name Tomac does Yamaha incorporate his fame to develop thier emtn bike? Thought I saw while back Yamaha had one or I could be mistaken?

Yeah, I didn't say it was bad, just odd. It's a paint company. Not exactly something you see guys in our sport promote on the regular.

Imagine him with a can of paint of the podium instead of a Monster Energy drink. Grinning

If they would go back to more blue plastic it would help. The black is played out and looks cheap
Agreed. It's a photoshoot and it looks like they gave him Ferrandis' practice bike.
First thing I thought when I watched the video Mav posted, was that the bars looked like the same ones Ferrandis runs. Who knows, there may be a new trend in handlebars on the horizon.

Back to mid air clutch adjustments. If you know you know, he snapped on the cable clutch

Key person at PPG is a Tomac family friend. PPG also supplies many race teams with free paint for the Race Trailer/Truck's paint jobs to help offset the costs of a $70,000+ paint job and in turn promote the paint brand on the rigs traveling the nation.

What do we think about the way Star does the sideplate backgrounds?

No, it's just what the teams want. Many of our designs have an actual background shape but both of these teams requested the background to mimic the number's edge.

Not sure if Yamaha produces a complete bike, but they definitely produce (or at least did as of a few years ago) e-bike motors.
