He'd be a decent whisky throttle guest if they could get him to be honest about what happened..

Just went back and gave it a listen again. Its right at 4:62:30 to be exact.

Then I went and listened to an old interview with him on Youtube and the resemblance between the voices is unmistakable. What a strange dude calling in randomly and asking for stories about himself, then thanking them for the time after they pretty much all just shit talked him lmfao.

His online presents has started becoming more and more lately and was mega surprised when I heard him on pulp. I think he has a few sponsorship deals and is kinda promoting stuff in short Instagram clips. Still no riding videos tho. The MX world is very harsh on people but would love it if he started putting out videos like Hansen. I could watch this guy ride all day

I’m almost as bitter about it as others on here.

His may be the greatest story that never happened.

With the right support and good people around injecting a positive energy into his program who knows?

Incredible natural talent on a motorcycle.
He was just 10 years late

That’s a heck of a battle for third!! And he was the only one that could really get Dungey rattled.

Maybe J Law should have tried winning more than trying to rattle Dungey.

He did. He beat Dungey straight up several times and won the ‘08 west coast title.

Yep, and Ryan learned from it and had a legendary hall of fame career.

Yeah then Villopoto won the 450 sx title four years in a row against him. And I can’t remember him ever passing Tomac one time. But yeah he was consistent for sure.

All-time win list says otherwise, and Tomac has never beaten Dungey for a title, so without re-watching all the races, I think it's fair to say he's passed him plenty of times.

I suppose Tomac did beat him in 2016 when he broke his neck outdoors, but he still lost the title to Kenny. Dungey came back in 2017 and won the 450SX title and Tomac finished 2nd.

Yeah when Dungey had his electric start ktm, which was an extremely unfair advantage that should never have been allowed, he beat Tomac for that sx title. Tomac had a few tip overs and stalls, and had to kick his kawi several times, and that was the difference. Even though Tomac had 9 main event wins that season and again, Dungey never passed him once, Dungey won with his cheater bike.

Why one team was allowed to have electric start bikes, and the others weren’t is still a mystery. Maybe Roger knows?

Before the orange bikes started winning it was considered as nothing but added weight by most.
Just as RMZ was an obsolete overweight machine until Kenny murdered everyone in 2016 on one of those "turds". Wink

Dungey and KTM cheated, broke the rules to win that championship. It should be removed from the record books altogether.

I'd love to see a free ride video with him at Axel Hodges place. I feel like they would get along good, and make a sweet video🤷

I will just raise my hand and say that I have always regarded JLaw as a complete and total asshole. He squandered talent that most would kill for, opportunities to make millions that few will ever have...and acted like an absolute idiot.

But...he could damn sure ride that hell out of a a dirt bike! That's for sure.

History is largely way too romantic.

How’d they cheat?

Also if that’s the case let’s go back and strip Ricky of that title the infamous “fuel penalty” year in SX. Honestly if I was racing at that level and my team manager wasn’t pushing the boundaries of every rule and everything they could do for me, I’d be looking for a new team.

The man three peated sx titles, don't mention tomac in the same sx context.... not even close.

he also won both premier titles his rookie 450 year.

back to jlaw, I wish we could have seen him mix it up with dungey and RV all those years.
