I hope that stock motor will survive if you dont have back up bike or motor. Worst thing could happen is technical problem just before raceday.

The only thing that could make things even greater is that someone would offer an off the shelve, race tuned engine who Brent only needs to swap in his KTM SXF250. Woohoo Silly

Read what Rick had to say about it all below. I first remember seeing him dominate an EMX150 race at Lommel a few years ago and followed him since then because his talent was obvious. It’s great to see him have success this year in EMX250 after some tough years and now getting this chance at an AMA race. And fantastic to see the help from Europe and America (Brent) to give him this chance.

That would indeed be amazing and I really hope SO, but lets be realistic he needs to fight against guys on bikes with engines who are tuned and completely dialed in, when he rides a stock engine with a tuned ECU, HGS system and some other trick parts.

Update - first day of testing for Rick in the United States was today at Statefair MX, after some rear tire size changes Rick was absolutely flying-

The New XPR ECU, combined with the VP pro 6 race fuel gave us more power than we expected,

We have some brief video, if you want to see go find Rick’s Instagram page @rick.elz

We have some GoPro video also that we will upload soon to YouTube.

It was definitely over 100⁰F out here in Riverside/Temecula today. Rode a street bike on the 15 fwy for 30 minutes and didn't even want to think about what it would feel like putting in motos. If he's out here grinding in the heat, that's all I need to know to be convinced he means business. Rooting for him.

Tomorrow at Glen Helen timed practice we will see how Rick stacks up against the 250 class guys.

Sunday at state fair he turned an unofficial 1:11.556 lap time ( my stopwatch) in his last session in the heat, which I was told was close to the fast lap, but who knows.

@brent so just to recap, are you just a normal guy on vital (sorry I don't know of youre back ground if you're not) who has responded to someone that reached out on here and have invested you're own time and $ to help a euro rider out and get him to race 250 ama class
