This is the first year that i've ever really watched & closely followed the daily live coverage of the race. I've been spending a lot of time in the office at work this week, so I have been playing the RacerTV stream and listening to it in the background all day.

The camera crew is great and i'm loving all of the drone shots. Really cool and well done there.

These RacerTV announcers though....my god they butcher the race calling. Anyone know who they are? I was more impressed by most of the "guest" announcers that they bring in for certain classes.

They have been having technical issue in the tower that has effected the call.

Because he's made mains and isn't some jackwagon dogging people from their mom's basement. Talent respects talent.

Fun Fact: During qualifying at the 19 Daytona SX he ate shit bad in the section I was DigDugging and I picked his bike up and got him to a hay bale. Doc Bodner came over to check him out and I personally thought no one was home. He shakes it off for about a minute, takes his bike from me, starts it up and clears the double that was maybe 20 yards away and was so smooth. Total badass to do that after being knocked silly, just stunning the talent even the back of the pack guys have. Talked to him on track walk 2020 about it and he was the freaking nicest guy ever.

For anyone that wants to dog a racer that misses the Main Event by 1 or 2 places just think if that 23rd or 24th place rider was the 23rd or 24th best QB in the NFL. He'd be making $5 million a year.

I thought they had 55+ in the 90,s. I guess I,m wrong. The top 10 in 50+ are ripping yet. Why make it the last vet class. I guess I,m the only one that thinks 55+ class would be cool. Who took care of them selfs enough to still race or the genetic freak that has something left. Sorry about the double post, my phone is freaking.

Oh no, I would love to see a 55 and 60+ class. I'm just over 60 and would love to race there again. I can't even qualify anymore in the 50+ class they have got so fast. If there was a 60+, it would give me incentive to get my fat butt in shape again. Maybe have a vet week before with the added classes. I went over there Sunday and it is so packed it doesn't even look like fun to be there like it used to be.
Millville has vet classes up to 65 or 70. 55 a, b,c no gate fee for 55 and older. Wi. Riders that finished 4 th at LL are 6-8th at Millville. I would rather rip whoops and do a RJ off the big down hill. Than sit all week waiting for 3 motos.

This was DC's response when I asked him about coverage of the +45 race. It's too bad it's the first moto. We should get to watch their third moto though.

Jeezus...this thread sure took a turn...all because some nobody who had a Team Green dealer support ride back in the day isn't happy about how KIDS are thanking their sponsors....

Is there any racing happening today or we just wanna keep shitting on kids we don't know for stuff that doesn't change our lives one bit?
I appreciate everyone's replies, I was just looking to have a conversation regarding podium speeches when I noticed so many guys repeating the "anyone I forgot, thanks" that I found interesting. Like I said, little kids are different but teen years it starts to really become a serious sport with financial obligations.

And you're right, I got seriously injured before I could really become somebody long ago so you could say I was a nobody. Your little dig there is funny but I get it.

Back to racing - I've been at work all day and still catching up but apparently Cochran is out with a shoulder injury? I guess it's now up to Janik to race Deegan. Reynolds is having some bad luck also. Going to try rewinding some of these races tonight to catch up.

I can assure you that whether it started as 100CC or 112CC it's now as many CCs as allowable by the rules.

Whatever’s in his motor obviously rips because his starts are general phenomenal. He holeshotted the moto today (not sure if officially he did, but I thought so on racertv)

Oh man, little ripper Brody Barth that lives down the road from me just missed the podium for 85 (10-12). Looking at the results from first moto looks like he may have a chance to get podium overall if he has a good 3rd moto.
Cheer this kid on next moto, if he gets on the podium he’ll give a good interview. He has a great personality plus he’s an all around good kid (doesn’t rock star this old vet rider when I get in his way on the practice track)

Man did anyone else see that 65cc podium interview yesterday? I don't remember exactly what class but the kid ended up winning the first moto and then pulled a holeshot second but ended up going down 3 times. I guess his parents made him go up and accept the holeshot award still. Poor kid looked devastated, he was moving back forward after every time he went down but I guess the last time he had trouble getting the bike started so he ended up like 33rd. The podium guy asked him about his moto and where he ended up finishing. Poor kid was like "idk, last?" Felt so bad...

I'm sure Brown has backed it down with his lead, but Fro turning same if not faster lap times on his 150 coming from the back is pretty impressive. From that early vurb video on his run to the ranch i didn't think he looked that fast but he must just be riding that smooth that it doesn't look fast as his times at LL have been no joke

Fro is always deceiving like that. So smooth and doesn't look like he's working hard but he's going super quick.

Give these guys at Loretta's the credit they deserve. Milt (the only guy from MN in 50+) usually wins 50A at Millville and he's not cracking the top 20 at Loretta's. I'm not talking crap on Milt at all, he absolutely rips.

Wi. Rider in 5th overall Brodie Boomeester. The best filming of a race is Millville regional 12-17 125 b,c and 125c. Chad Gochenour 12,22 in 45+ must be fired up, beating Ryno in 23rd. Keith Johnson 2,2 in 45+ ,Emig 3,3

A lot of it has to do with the track and luck. A Wisconsin rider is usually about 6, 7th with a best of a 3rd at Millville. He finished 4th in a 125c moto at LL. Sits in 5 th overall. Some riders don’t like the LL track compared to other Midwest tracks. A lot say it’s like a Friday night track.

Kind of funny that I'm getting pissed that my feed of an amateur race is janky when I used to be happy to see the biggest pro race of the year months later.
