What's more dangerous....the bike Anstie has to ride or the HEP pits for a media guy? Laughing

Seriously though, why even have a guy like this on your team? You could certainly get the same mediocre results with someone who the American fans actually like and would promote your sponsors in a better way.

Me thinks we won't be seeing much of ol' Max after this year anyway, hopefully he enjoys a real job with the rest of us. Think his loyal and loving wife will stick around once the racing has stopped? History hasn't exactly been good for these dudes who Marry the dime piece arm candy while they are hot shoe racers.....

That said, I've never seen either one of them spout off on social media about anything at all...and certainly not anything derogatory regarding their significant others bike or team. Frankly, Max's girlfriend should be told to STFU. She's not the rider, she's not under contract, and she has ZERO to say about any of it.

We are venturing perilously close to plane old fashioned sexism here.


Some of you guys need to tone it down a couple notches. It's juts a post on instagram or whatever. The sensitivity levels for hardcore dirtbikers shocks me sometimes.

If a mechanic spouted off like some of the ladies have, on-line, on-social and in front of sponsors (ahem...) they'd be fired before their wrench hit the floor.

But some of the ladies seem to have almost no filter.

Max wife shouldn’t have made that post but she realised a mistake was made and deleted it. Humans make mistakes. If she’s left it up fair enough, bring it up on Pulp, she stands by it. However it’s a dick move for Steve to bring it up when it was deleted, if it weren’t for that the post would have had much fewer eyeballs/people knowing about it.
Also who does that and then saunters into the pits where Millie and Max are?? Was he expecting them to be nice to him?

Milly Anstie has only been with Max a couple of years and so has not had as much involvement in the daily/ weekly grind if MX.

But Mathilde & Natasia (sp) are all in as part of the team and have been for a long time

I know Matilde and Marvin have been together for like 20 years, because I first met them when he was 16 at the Moscow (Russia) SX in like 03 or 04

He didn't even speak english back then, but she did some.

She is a strong woman, but knows to stay off the radar publicly

Look on the bright side....I'm sure Twisted Tea is flying off the shelves because of Anstie..... or not..... Laughing

Some of these guys (and especially their wives/girlfriends) think they are WAY more important than they are. There are 10 other dudes lining up currently who HEP could put in that spot and get similar results and a better return for their sponsors.

You gave it a good run Max, hopefully you find a 9-5 that you enjoy.
