He is running out of time agewise and I don't think he wants to be known as just a 250 guy forever.

I think there is some 450 team that will sign him....and he should take it no matter what it is...

except NOT on the Suzuki! Wink

How about Bogel's spot? Husky. GasGas. Or even a smaller team will work.

He is too good to just be a "forever 250 guy"

I don't think he'll resign with star, but I think he'll re-sign with star.

I have been a huge fan of jmart for as long as I can remember. I remember thinking this guy is gunna kill it as his career progresses. I remember watching him battle with Webb and usually coming out on top in the early 250 Yamaha Star days. But when Webb and him collided at washougal and he got injured, that just seemed to be the first of a long set of heartbreaks for this guy. I sure hope he can turn it around. The dude's got heart. I'll never forget him holding up the big trophy over his head on his first 250 championship and he's holding back the tears. You got to like that kind of passion!!

Jmart and PC Kawi will be a championship winning combination and Mitch would be smart to put him on a 450 at some opposite coast races. He could have a great season and swoop in and take Forkners 450 ride at Kawi.

I just think his personality states he is in this for more than just the paycheck.

He is a very good 450 rider and will do well.

I agree he would do well. Obviously Jeremy has his own goals in mind. With that said, it’s still a small window. Hypothetically, if he wins Sx next year he gets a good ride on a 450 the year after.

Why jump up on possibly sub par equipment and less money?

OK. The STAR bike have proven to be less reliable than the CRF. They have been caught and passed by the CRF. They are no longer the dominant 250 MX bike. Maybe because they cannot manage 10 bikes. The Husky has more wins! The Honda has more wins!

I could see GasGas as a good spot for him. He could stay on a 250 for SX and then move up to 450 for MX or in 2023.

Martin would be a win for a team like PC and every other Austrian brand.

He probably won’t win indoors, but will be knocking on the door and outdoors he is for sure gonna win races and podium and be upfront. That’s exactly what all those teams need and want right?

Listening to pulp right now, he said he’s already signed a deal for next year and can relax now. Taking Smith’s spot at PC or staying with star?

I bet he is staying on Star. Saw him on racer X and said he could not say nothing quite yet.

Teams don't want riders injured.
Forkner and Martin.. 2 riders who 1 should dominate SX and the other should Dominate outdoors.. but yet neither can hardly finish a series.

What are you even talking about dude. He literally raced the entire season last year. Podiums in SX and almost won the outdoor title, only being beat by the guy who’s now leading the 450 championship.

You can’t compare JMart and Forkner. JMart has TWO national titles. He has won 4 motos already outdoors this year and if he didn’t get landed on back to start SX he’d have a couple more SX wins and probably be leading the title right now.

Forkner has never won a title and gets injured and misses time almost every year. Jeremy broke his back and missed a big chunk rehabilitating and coming back from that but has raced and finished a ton of series in his career, generally near or at the top. It is truly impressive that he is still around going 1-1 like he did last week and dorks are still out here hating on the internet.

I’m sure he has tired but why not do 250 indoors and 450 outdoors. It’s cool seeing him win especially in his hometown but every one of his peers is in the 450 class. If Craig can get top 5’s think what Martin can do.

If he signs with PC, is it still a 5 rider team or who goes looking for a job? It's been said that Mitch doesn't pay like the other teams so what is the motivation for Jmart? He is already on the best equipment in the class.
