I understand some of the disadvantages, but would anyone disagree that it might be safer? Even if it's by half a wheel, it would give those who are fastest (say in the heat race) the ability to stay out of harms way 'more' after the start? Opinions?
We talk about headsets, but large organizations like F1 and Nascar also have staggered start positions too...

Triple crown is closer to outdoors format as far as each minute on the track is for points and has all the top guys in it the whole time. How it is now is essentially qualifying.
And with the nature of supercross starts are so hugely important so should make gate pick actually matter. I’m for it.
It would be better racing and safer.

Make it so the top guys all get out and battle with each other tooth and nail for every lap of every main.
There would be better battles throughout the entire pack.
Should we take out whoops too? Some racers are good at them some aren’t
You are replying on emotion, there are no guarantees that a good rider that gets a bad start battles for the win otherwise.
Sit back and enjoy the race
Like I mentioned, it's an idea... Something to explore...strange how some resist ideas so much though.
Pit Row
George Russel had the car and didn’t win. He will though given time because he is a good driver.
If you remove the best person from any sport someone else wins.
F1 is not a level field when it comes to the equipment, but Hamilton’s ability is what has him in that car over any other car.
Same as supercross, Tomac is on a factory Kawi because he is one of the best riders out there.
