With this garbage bike on a slippery track.
He was fighting the bike in every corner, he litterally pull out everything he could out of this bike...

This tank doesnt have a place in 450 supercross. Please KTM buy yamaha or give ferrandis a ride Silly

Stewart Webb barcia plessinger... DF14 really need to doesn't waste his career on this bike.

Well that bike is not best on flat tight corners and without proper whoop section there wasnt place to gain.
It seems all track layouts are tighter and slower speed than before is that done for safety reasons on what?

These are some of the shortest lap times we’ve seen in sx so no

He seems like he can pass OK on it, so what is the problem.

I think he just needs to make it through the full sx series without getting hurt and it’s a success. Yamaha should be releasing a new bike in 22.

I think Dylan is doing great with what he’s got, and he’s finding out that the 450’s are another planet from the 250’s. He’ll be fine.

This is still a guy who had been back on the bike a couple weeks before H1. Looks fine to me. His starts are almost worse than Tomacs which seems unfathomable. He doesn't look out of place to me. He will run with these guys eventually

Yes, this thread seems a bit off, he finished 6th last night against a stack field as a rookie. Not sure how that means the Yamaha is unrideable. I think he’s doing good for his first year.

Nah, just a Frenchman with a sore pussy. It’s their national pastime. Complaining and whining that is. The sore pussy part they are born with.

KTM should definitely buy Yamaha, I'd love to see what they could do with their piano and guitar lines. Frankly, I'm tired of seeing black pianos. A splash of orange could have 'em selling like hot cakes.

Laughing love him and his dad but no ahah.

Neeeeh you can be as much a fan boy of yamaha but you can't deny than this 450 is a pain to ride for every rider in sx.

And you have to don't know ferrandis to think he is fine.

He is struggling to lay out his style since the opening. He is doing magic with this tank.
Give him a Honda or a kthvgas and that will be a different story.

We can see he is struggling to put the power down and ride the bike in slow corner.

At Houston3 Dylan was very painful to watch (even more when we compare to how he rode in SX last year).
Last night it was not great but at the end it was not bad (and the track did not help him).
You can deny as much as you want, yet it's factual (and the first one to be aware of it, is Dylan).

More generally, what he shows currently attests that he lacks a bit of precision for SX at this level (he is way more a MX rider, as DV remind it often). And we may still presume that this 450 did not help him.

Looks like he’s learning the power still. Lot of aggressive throttle action. He’ll be fine. Jesh hes a rookie in this class.

Love Dylan and it was his choice to ride the Yamaha.

I can't believe with his potential there weren't other OEMs wanting to sign him.

4th professional Big Bike race at the highest and toughest competition level in his sport, already with one 2nd place podium finish. Ya, the bike sucks....Blink

I thought this was only going to be about how worried I got every time he approached that massive double that was taking guys out all day.

If I were a betting man I would say odds are good we will see a win out of one of those "blu pigs" before the season is out.

I think he is doing great! As far as the bike, it is good now and will get even better under the Star tent.

Only on Vital you can see retirement plans being crowd-organized for former SX 250 champ after 4 rounds in 450s... Dizzy oh and he is also coming freshly from injury sustained during offseason...

Indy1 was weird one for DF14. A lot of small mistakes but he wasn't the only one doing them. I would even say he can snatch a win this year. The bike is fine, maybe the setup made it a bit sketchy at parts but it is only one race. Pinch

These people that continually bash on the Yamaha's crack me up. There is nothing wrong with the bike. It is the riders!
