He nose wheelied and had the rear brake locked up as he took him wide. Looked to me like he just came in hot trying to take Jett wide and just couldn't stop. They got tangled up and both went down. Just a racing incident. Hard racing with some rubbing, but nothing dirty. I just think Craig made a mistake when he was trying to keep his position on the track.

That's exactly what happened but Craig should have been a little more patient when choosing his pass...or if he cant pass Jett then settle for the position and the points it pays.

He lost a bunch and most likely the title as tonight. It aint over and I can't see him running it in on Colt to claw some points back.

A bit off topic but to me this East Coast series looks to be a bit thin on competition. Forkner and Hamshire out, Volland is out, that just leaves 4 guys that could win a main.

Title is far from over, but it was a dumb move none the less....
I see my mistake there.. got mixed up.

Doesn’t change the fact that Jett is a crybaby. He got one race of adversity and cries about it. Literally crying about it. Get used to it kid. Just like last year. Craig did what he did, why does he have to cry and make a big deal about it? Just curious.

It‘s pretty simple, the guy is 17,that‘s an age where adrenaline and emotions are difficult to master.

I noticed Craig's bike bounce when he landed. It looked to me like he caught an edge somewhere that kicked him further to the right than he was intending.
It makes sense that the bike connected. There was no advantage in pushing both riders off the track. Craig is smart enough to know that.

He could be 47 and the reaction would be fine, just shows how much racing means to him and how hard he works for it.

Do you think he was crying about Craig’s poorly executed ‘move’ ? I don’t for one minute. He said himself in the interview straight after the podium that their bikes got hooked together.
That kid just tried his guts out, nearly got there too, but it came undone. I’d say he was just overcome with pure emotion. Rather see that passion then the usual boring ‘tough men’ robots.

So happy for Craig and his smug face to lose 10sec and the podium Laughing

Damn he got the physical condition of an asthmatic chicken and think he can win all races and championship..

Lawrence got back on the track (in the middle of a whoop section, I might add) as soon as possible. Craig, however, simply accelerated down the side of the track all the way to the final corner. I like Craig, but that should not be acceptable.
So whats the excuse for other riders at other sections from now on?

That was textbook how you get back on the track where you got off.

There is always one isn’t there. Jett lives for this. And his emotions, journey to this point and love for the sport should humble us, not attract hatred.
Who are you and what do you do?
Does any sheila ever come cooee of you? Have you seen a map of tassie?
Have you ever been pack raped by a mob of kangaroos?

Made the same mental mistake Dylan made: went into the turn too hot and misjudged where the other rider was.

Not a Craig fan at all just to be upfront. I think we are seeing the unraveling of CC a little bit every weekend now. He knows Nichols and Jett have speed and fitness on him and he has whoop speed and starts on them. When the whoops get jumpy Craigs advantage goes away, if he doesn’t get the start he isn’t going to be able to run those guys down with his lack of stamina. Whoop speed is great to have but you need more than that to win a Championship.

It wasn’t a dumb or smart move, it was just a racing move to block getting passed!

I mean, second last corner, a 90 no less, of course you go wide.

Negative 10 points for riding yourself into the tuff-blocks tho... the guy going around you sure, but you should stay up.

if someone would’ve told me that was going to happen last night, but not tell me who, I would’ve never guessed CC. That’s a move that you’d expect from a rookie, Barcia, or someone in LCQs. Not seconds away from the finish line. How can someone’s ego be so big that they can’t accept 3rd & the points that go with it, rather than eat shit and end up 5th?

He nose wheelied and had the rear brake locked up as he took him wide. Looked to me like he just came in hot trying to take Jett wide and just couldn't stop. They got tangled up and both went down. Just a racing incident. Hard racing with some rubbing, but nothing dirty. I just think Craig made a mistake when he was trying to keep his position on the track.
It wasn't dirty, it was just stupid, and a mistake someone with his experience shouldn't be making.

Jesus..... what a bunch in no racers in this thread. It was the second to last corner in a hotly contested points race. Christian simply went to run him wide (not dirty) Jett was trying to pass and left it on a little late (not dirty) they locked bars (not dirty) Christian was on the brakes hard with his throttle and front brake tangled with Jett.

Nothing about it was dirty or stupid. Jett said their bikes became tangled without a mention of Craig. End of story.

Jett was faster, Christian was holding on. Great racing. Shit Happens.

Had Jett simply passed on the outside the Monday morning quarterback keyboard warriors would be saying Craig doesn’t have fight in him or is “soft”.

if you can not execute the move, maybe don’t try it out of desperation. the red light should’ve told him it was a bad idea.

Unless he comes out and makes a statement Tuesday, Craig’s done. Colt knows this is over. Bummed for CC, but he’s had like 89 years to get that lites championship.

Execute the move? Holy shot Jett was passing on the outside. That’s like trying to say, Why didn’t Jett just slow up? I’ll tell you why, because he was battling for position. Christian was ahead. He’s supposed to let him ride around him on the outside?

Some of you act like you’ve never been in fight for a podium at the local track with 1.5 turns left.

Calm down Regis. We don’t need to hear about your extensive +50 novice race experience.

Look man with a username like “pbrvince” I expected nothing less 🤣 . Jett was the highlight of the night, he is still making some unforced errors here and there but the domination is inevitable when those clear up. Even with them he is still right there at the sharp end. Great ride by Nichols, I think he is going to take this thing in the end as the pieces of the puzzle are all coming together for him. Then again this is SX so who the f knows.
