He touched on it, but couldn't say exactly what it was for legal reasons.

It wasn't weed and it wasn't steroids he said. And he had a prescription for it.

It sounded like after an awful season at Kawi they found a reason to let him go and took it. Even Matthes said if he was having a good year someone would've just thrown whatever was in there away.
I got a bunch of downvotes for my post above...but it wasn't a dig at Davi. He's always been a favorite of mine...and I just thought his getting fired like that so suddenly was weird, as was the total hush hush about the reason. I read somewhere that it was steroids or some performance enhancing drug...but not sure how credible the source. Davi said it was an anti-inflammatory for a wrist condition...and I agree with Matthes. Had he been doing well...it would never have even been mentioned.

Glad to see he's doing well these days regardless.

Davi wore Bell for years, had to get out of that deal to go to what was then, the BTO KTM team.

His first race for them was the GP at Glen Helen

He signed and gave me his first Fly helmet with the team.

It say "from the start" because we sponsored Davi all the way back to mini's

I liked when he called out RD for saying "you guys are trying to get me in trouble" multiple times. Davi said "trouble with who!? You're retired!" Dungey is a horrible interview.

Davi showed him the proper way to train? So he just didn't follow his own advice then?

Davi talked about his year in Canada, how it was the best he ever rode, and that he was untouchable during the week against US guys as well.

I witnessed some of that in person and it's true. It would have been so interesting to see him take a crack at the Nationals after that, but he didn't make another start.

He was a revelation. Amazing how different he comes across now that he has some distance and can speak more freely. I liked him since the Transworld Movie “six” , but it seemed later in his career he became more guarded. Great show and I especially enjoyed the Dungey interview.

I don't think its an "uncool" or "ugly" issue. The problem with the neck donut is that to install the donut on the helmets, people used to drill holes in the shell of the helmet to attach the donut. If it were just glued on, that would be such an issue, but that wasn't the popular mode of installation.

I talked to Davi at the 2016 SX at Santa Clara. He was hanging out with the Husky riders. He was very nice and was happy to chat with me. I loved his RM125 graphics from the day and told him I would use his design on my 125. He thought that was cool.

Finally got through the whole episode last night....Davi was really good in studio and I love the tension that exists between him and Matthes from the old days. It was fun for them to play off of it even though they are now both obviously fine with each other.

I got to meet Davi randomly at A3 in 2013 at the Doubletree near Angels stadium. He was waiting there to meet someone and we just chatted in the lobby for 15 min and he was super friendly, despite the weight of the red plate Laughing

His house in murrieta was on the same street as my high school. We’d roll by there after school to get to the jumps and he would always give a nod or a wave if he was out there. It was crazy to us at the time nobody at school knew a dam legend was living right there! Lol Almost collided with him and Marty up in the plateau on bikes too and they were super cool about it. Davi is good people

The honesty, hot takes, and the overall conversation during the show was spot on. Hope he comes on the show again. He was a good co host .

Arai from beginning of his pro career in 2003 through 2009, AGV in 10 and 11, Bell in 12 and 13, Airoh in 14, Thor in the beginning of 15, was gonna be Bell when doing his own thing, but ended up Fly toward middle of year. Fly in beginning of 16, then Airoh for second half, then back in Fly for 17. Lastly, he was Bell for 2018 but then the injury taht ended it.
