Didn’t know they were not in the box.
I’ll get them out ASAP in the morning.
It will be close but since we are both in CA they should make it there Thursday afternoon.

He opened a few things this morning and sent me this photo, saying the gear was way too big. Then he told me that it was his younger brother wearing it - had me going good for a while!

He's picked out 6 or so boxes to open this evening. I can't wait either. Smile

To follow up on my previous post, I contacted a couple other local tracks last week via phone message and email (MMX, Argyll and Sac Raceway Park) and told them a little about Mayson, then asked if they'd be willing to contribute with some free riding time. I sent them each a link to this thread and Mayson's address. Not sure if anything will come of it, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. In the meantime, I made a small contribution to the fund. Thanks so much to Hammer663s for putting this together! This is a definite "feel good" thing for everyone and heightens the holiday spirit a notch or two! Merry Christmas!

He's getting started. He said there's so much he's having to clean up to make room to open more. They got the bike back from Slipdog yesterday with suspension done, chassis bearings all replaced/greased as needed, valves checked and shimmed. Mayson and his grandpa Rick have quite a lot of work ahead to install all the parts.

A little update since it’s been a while. Busy time of year. Mayson has everything unboxed. Today I will send a check for $2200 to his grandpa to put in savings for Mayson. I’d expect them to start installing parts on the bike this weekend, and it will take a couple weeks what with school and work starting back up on Monday.
