Did you guys move here from California, or Oregon?
ha - no. A cold northern state...and that was a long time ago (and I don't miss it!).

El Paso is a long way from Houston (El Paso is acuatally closer to San Diego when you drive)

Fingers crossed we can go! If that’s the case I’ll be going to both at Indianapolis since that race got canceled on me this year

Still going to have a East and West 250 class? Seems like a perfect opportunity to make the best 250 guys race eachother for a full series!! I also think adding a10lap pre qualified race with some different sounding lites bikes would be cool!

A lot less travel for the rigs and crew. I'm not a huge SX fan but this year I'm hungry for dirt scooter racing.

So now, in addition to the financial advantage I gained from moving from California to Indiana, I’ll get to go to two Supercross races 20 minutes from home!

I wonder how much budget they saved doing it this way?

You guys been in a coma? You want people to confirm how many fans 3 months ahead of time? Just consider every single detail as a big "maybe" until the starting gate drops.

are they really saving much? if teams will be in some of these cities for over a week, then they have to put the crews up in hotels and feed them for that amount of time. less miles on the trucks, so they might save a little on diesel

as long as they aren't making a 'quarantined compound' like they did @ SLC, with the exception of the two Tuesday rounds, it could function like a past season, but with the truck staying in place for longer. also, there is no crisscrossing the country. so theoretically, it should be logistically much more simple/cost efficient.

This.

My guess is that they will hold the other rounds at Anaheim and/or San Diego, if the governor lets us Californians out of our fetters long enough to do it.
Pretty sure Anaheim Stadium typically has another tennant starting in late March...

Isn't the San Diego stadium also the baseball stadium? I know they switched recently. I wonder if the new stadium the Rams/Chargers are is an option.

Thanks Gov Newsom for that, Feld had no control over his BS.

sounds like the pits will be closed to spectators (no party in the pits), will there still be VIP packages???

they said they are doing block seating in the stadiums, so people can sit together with friends and family, though you have to buy all the tickets for your group at the same time. assuming they will have limited capacity, these races might sell out fast.

More like CA gave the big FU to events.

I still wish the last round was in Vegas, but no complaints now that I’m in SLC 😂

That is a west coast thing, no Seattle either. That should not come as a surprise to any of us Sad

I am surprised that Atlanta did not make the list. It is open and a central location for the Southeast with easy access from Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, and into the Carolinas.

not seeing Atlanta on there is a big surprise, it could be a scheduling conflict and the venue is not available, I would expect there is a good chance that Atlanta gets one of those TBD rounds.

Sounds like cities-counties and their health departments have the final say in some cases for events, so even if a state is “open,” the local officials could say it’s closed. That seems to be the case in STL, because the city technically owns the dome.

Another thing to keep in mind is even if ATL or STL hypothetically allowed a very low number, say under 10k, that might not be enough of a crowd make it financially viable for Feld or the venue.

Props to Feld for pulling this much of a program together so far.
