wishing on a prayer.... But if the 2021 has e start im all in. In all fairness most of us on the board suck. its all about having a bike that makes you smile and getting out with some friends you can dice it up with. Covid 19 has blessed Moto in a way making us realize how "essential" our bikes are to us. Just my two cents. Hopefully Suzuki can continue to fight the good fight.

He mentioned on the podium that they went with a rear paddle tire which helped with the holeshots. He was in the minority in running one on the 450’s & it looks like It paid off.

Where’s the guy that was posting all kinds of bazaar statistics on this thread? 25% of Rmz450’s had a mechanical failure yesterday!!!

Totally kidding, it’s refreshing seeing some rmz’s running up front. Stoked for you legs!

They didn't even bother to remove the 2020 RMZ logo from the shroud, just slapped on a bold new 2021 logo on top

I want one. Despite all the ridicule it receives, this bike would be a huge upgrade for me. Who will buy me one?

Idk I think the new Honda or gasgas might win the looks shootout this year too. As far as stock looks go. That graphic is absolutely hideous. Looks like a kids bike now. Easy fix though.

Suzuki might have taken note of the YZ250 thats been the same bike for 15 years. People still buy them. People will keep buying the RMZs and Suzuki will keep making money selling them. I bet they've recovered the money they spent on the last redesign. Each bike they produce becomes less costly. They basically went from 2008 until 2017 on the last model. They might slap an electric starter on it or change suspension as newer suspension parts age and become cheaper. So maybe 2025 for a complete redesign.

The graphics kind of reminds me of the 87 rm's rad shroud design just a newer take on it. It looks pretty close on the 85.

After thinking about this, I think I get what is going on with Suzuki.

Here you have the other manufacturers pushing the bleeding edge of technology to make the ultimate four stroke race bike ( with increasing price tags), and maybe Suzuki is saying " we don't want to play this game of one-upmanship anymore".

Sure, the RM series isn't the lightest or best suspended, or most powerful, but for the average guy wanting to ride something new that doesn't cost a lot, maybe these are the bikes?

Look at the Yamaha YZ125, unchanged for 17 years and still selling well. Maybe Suzuki is going down that road with their dirt bikes. Now if they only re-introduced a 125 two stroke...
