For me it's unbelievable how much hate Haiden Deegan gets. Claims as he has the best bikes, wins because of money and all other bullshit is un -real to me. Of course he has really good material, trainers and the facility to practice, but a lot of kids behind the gates have access to that kind of resources as well.

I have so much respect to the whole Deagan family for putting in so much effort to see their kids succeed in what they love to do. Haiden is still a kid with the attitude of a professional athlete. His passion, dedication and talent are going to bring him a bright future.

Also the Deegan vlogs get people from all over the world connected to our beloved sport and i only see that as a positive.

Keep it up Haiden!

Levi Kitchen and Dax Bennick might be the most impressive performers this week. Kitchen because how dominant he is and Bennick because the dude jumped from riding 85cc last year to being the next guy up in 250B behind the the most dominant rider of the week.

Kitchen won his motos yesterday with 39 and 37 seconds. You can downplay it because it’s B class but I would call that dominating no matter the class.

I watch some of their YouTube stuff when it comes up on my home page and had no real opinion on the Deegz's. That was until he did an arrogant look back, when he passed for the early lead, in one of his first moto's. He can be lucky the other 2 riders didn't get back passed him, or he would have looked like a real chop. Shit like that, changes peoples opinions. Changed mine.

Doesn’t start until 11 p.m. here, so I’d take 9 a.m. all damn day.

My son woke me up at 5:45 to watch the 65cc (7-9) at 6am and just figured out the show hasn't started.

The look back was probably more to see where the other rider was as they were very close the turn before. It was clean passes, and even if it would have been agressive, well, rubbin' is racing, it is still an action sport.

If you really follow the channel which I do, there is zero arrogance, yes he wants to win and puts in the work, but honestly anyone would want to have a 13 years old kid that smart and driven. The way he is maturing makes me 99% sure he is gonna as much liked as Jettson. Same with Brian, awesome moto Dad.

To the original post, I am surprised you actually found some haters (except maybe some competitors) as if you see the youtube comments when they are still activated (videos with kids video can't be commented), you will see that he has a TON of fans including myself. And even if there is 1% hater, it is amazingly low in today's world Wink

Track conditions play a big role in those lap times.

That lap time came from the first race of the day. Totally fresh track. If you want to see his lap times next to other B class then check out his 2nd moto of 250 B limited and then look at lap times of the Schoolboy 2. Those are as close as it gets right now in conditions. They fix the track right before the 50’s. So it’s about the same amount of motos. No way to tell though really unless they all line up together.

His 1:51 he put in yesterday was also the fastest and on a much rougher track....don’t know the kid from Adam but he is probably the standout rider so far....He’s impressive, I just wonder why he’s riding the limited classes and not the regular B....budget maybe?

Impossible to base anything on lap times. Can only go on results head to head. Won’t know if Kitchen is legit dominant until he races A class next year against everyone. Justin Cooper did it after racing college boy the year before. It’s happened more than that too. Just not as often as the next thing coming out of 250B/Schoolboy2.
It's not impossible...after a few days of racing on the same track in varying degrees of track conditions (excluding rain) you come to a fairly good conclusion that riders that are consistently turning laps in the low 50's are going fast. With Kitchen doing that on a stock bike and winning his Moto's by 30 seconds +-.....I would call that dominant and impressive
going into day 3...

His style is really maturing too, He stands and keeps his feet on the pegs far more than your average american 85 rider. Also seems that the whole family has a really impressive work ethic, which is a massive advantage in this sport.

Should be, but it's on YouTube as well.

Keefer looked incredibly relaxed in that +40 Moto and nursed a 7 second leap after starting 4th and making his way to the lead by the end of lap 1.

I’m not downplaying that it’s B class. I’m saying you can’t compare apples to oranges. The track is so different moto to moto, you have to understand that. Look at the outdoor nationals, even SX, the 250’s get the smoother track. They go out and chew up the track and the 450’s have to start the race on what they finished. Thus their lap times are skewed. Same thing here. One corner being chewed out and the fast line being changed from just a moto before changes so much. Also not downplaying how dominant he’s been in his class, I’m saying I’d like to see him against the full B class. Not the rest of the guys that didn’t sign up for mod. Instead we are left wondering if he’s really the fastest B rider. It’s not hate from me towards him, it’s curiosity as to just how good is he riding compared to who his true competition for rides on teams is. If he is really 30+ seconds faster than the entire B class then that would mean he should have every 250 team beating the door down. Which could be happening for him.

Anyone have pics of the Yamaha's that they are racing in Mini-E? I've never seen one and can't find pics online.

Levi is riding really well and I hope he gets a ride, but its 40 seconds over a kid who had his collarbone plated like three weeks ago and rode 85s last year. Also, pretty sure Daxton is 14 and isn't Levi 19?

Max reminds me so much of Marvin Musquin with his riding style. Smooooth.

I’m not comparing him to other classes but to the competition he has on the gate with him, which even if it’s the limited class isn’t bad. But for sure it would be fun to see him against the rest of the B class. No one knows if he would win, but I would bet he would be mixing it up out front. I’d guess after his performances we’ll see sooner rather than later how he matches up against the rest.

Just to add, Rios and Chambers are racing both 250B classes. Rios is 5-4 and Chambers 3-7 in the limited class and they finished 5th and 6th in the first mod moto.

Watching 250B right now....these Yamahas are just faster. The team, builders and engineers deserve a major pat on the back.

When he got 5th the other day he looked really tired/stressed on the podium. Good to hear he got that weight off.
