With these crazy times we are living in does anyone have a moto related face mask? I’m still using my n95’s.

My wife bought me 2 Fox masks. They look awesome. She was so proud of herself and was like "they dont even sell these on the Fox website". Whe I told her that the mom and pop site she bought em from was probably committing trademark infringement she got bummed. But they still look good and I'm wearing them. I'll post pics in a min.

There's no way I will wear one riding.. I already ride at altitude with a lack of oxygen, this is going to make people pass out IMO. I wear one in the pits, but on the track, no way! Hope this thread doesn't get political, but the mask mandate doesn't work for most athlete situations where oxygen is a big factor in your safety to perform 100%. N95 does not protect others but might be the best choice as it allows you to exhale the CO2 and look compliant, but most places are cracking done on these as well as they don't filter out the air going out. Athletes are making them on https://www.etsy.com/ and posting for sale.

A friend of ours has been making masks the last few months. We found some fabric with bikes and stuff all over it and she made masks for us. We just got them Friday. She has a store on Etsy

Do you know if you can even buy them now? I know there is a link to email, just figured I'd ask.
In the link, sadly, it said that Dave miller passed away, and that's who they were making the masks for, so I could see them not making anymore.

Wait a minute, you are wearing a mask while riding your dirt bike ??

I hope not, some people are getting really carried away with this whole mask thing.

Wait was that reply for me?
EDIT: if it was for me, I definitely don't wear one riding 😂.
I have to wear one at work. Since I have to wear one for 8 hours a day, I might as well enjoy it a little lol.

I don't know but the article says they'd make another run if there was interest and plan to keep raising money for Dave's family so it may be possible. I'd buy a couple if they were available.

I didn’t quote you, so no. But it is/ can be for anyone reading this thread.

Wearing a mask while riding moto, is not a healthy idea. Anyone wearing a mask while riding their dirt bike must be watching to much of the news and is taking it a little too far with the mask, IMO

Thanks for the response.

If you find out they're making another run of them, can you post it in this thread? I would buy one to break up the monotony of my day to day at work. At the same time I like supporting anything moto, when I can.

Well that’s a good thing ! Cool

I’m still off work and don’t know when I’ll be able to go back to work. But when I do, I’ll have to wear a mask for 13+ hours a day. I am getting closer and closer to retirement, this may push me over the edge.
I understand the mask is necessary for entering areas where there is a need, but when I see people out on walks, riding their street bikes, driving in their cars, I’m blown away. Some people may have underlying issues and if that’s the case, I can understand that they don’t want to take any chances, but the other ones need to turn off their TV’s.

Take a breather Beavis, no one is suggesting you should wear one while riding...

Yes you can still buy them. I think if you search for Jimmy Macs facebook page he has a link on it or email him

What I hate about all these masks is they hook around the ears. I already have hearing aids and glasses. There's no more room on my ears unless I install studs in my head.

I like the kind that go over the back of the neck and over the top of the head.

But what I use, since I don't work in the public and don't have to wear one except in town, is a pull face mask with teeth.

Didn’t realize this would bring so many people in to this thread with useless posts. I started this thread about mask. Not anyone’s options on masks. The city I live outside of requires them. If I want groceries got to have a mask. If I need oil gotta wear a mask. Gas station I gotta wear a mask. My wife is a school teacher. She rides. We start school in a week here and she has to wear a mask. All you tough guys not wearing mask props to y’all.Yournthe main reason people can’t go back to a normal life because y’all are to macho and bad ass for them. Something my old man told me when I first started riding was your not going faster unless you crash. So once y’all start riding at a pace better than d class y’all may get hurt and take a trip to the hospital and guess what. You’ll have to wear a mask.

Oh, Fauci was sitting with his wife and best friend, outside, more than the 6' social distance

Supposedly, the moment that was shot, he was in middle of drinking some water (which would mean picking up, putting down, etc...You can shoot a ton of frames in 2 or 3 seconds now days

Just when I thought Vital had been kind of nice lately and people had stopped bringing up politics in every thread, here we go again.

I was. Still am. Allows my immune system to build up antibodies so I don’t have to deal with the inconvenience of being sick. Hand sanitizer? LOL I use hand de-sanitizer. WalMart has the nastiest shoppers, so once a week I’ll pull in their parking lot beside the cart return stall and lick the handles of every shopping cart in the stall. I don’t know why everyone doesn’t do this?

I didn’t read through this whole thread, but I got the 3 pack of FMF masks and they are pretty large. Would not recommend them for people with small heads, your wife, or girlfriend.
