Webb is great. But Tomac would have pulled away except for the crazy lappers. That is part of the game though.

6 seconds faster than 3rd place on the last lap!

Barcia must have been going for it to try to pass Marteen. Great ride for a lot of those guys in the top 10 but then again, they were a lap down!

I literally punched the sky a few times watching that race. Can't believe Tomac & team turned it around so much since his off-the-pace heat. His best time in the heat was 54.

Standing by my Webb is great comment...he ended the Q&A after the race with this...

"It’s the most money I’ve made in a week, so I’m pretty happy about that."

Classic.

Wonder why ET3 pushed for the W when he didn't need to. Ralph said Webb was pimping on everybody earlier in the week . . . Maybe Eli wasn't having it?

Did Webb do a flying W early race in the whoops?

Congrats to to #3, #1, and #21

Hope Marchbanks is going to be ok
They had a huge lead over 3rd place. Barring a catastrophic crash Eli could afford to do what comes natural and that is to charge forward. In some ways it is safer to keep pushing.

I don't think that losing that race "crushed" Webb's confidence. I think Webb is the type that realizes he has work to do to beat Eli and he will put his nose to the grindstone and go after it.

It will be interesting Wednesday night if Webb just spent a giant part of his physical resources trying to beat him and so in a couple days is way behind him OR if Tomac spent what he has and Webb is ahead of him.
I rode 60 minutes Friday night man I’m still done!

Dammit!!!!! My DVR cut off the last 6-7 minutes of the race!!! So pissed about it!!!!! Especially when I see a thread like this....... I guess this hasn't happened to anybody else? Worst part was I only set my dvr to record bec I was going to miss the first 20mins and wanted to watch the entire program plus it's pretty sweet to be able to FF through commercials. Had I known I wouldve watched the main when it actually started not on my dvarrrrr 😂😂🤑

9 guys turned a faster lap than Barcia in the 450 main.

1. Tomac 50.927
2. Webb 51.647
3. Anderson 52.111
4. Osborne 52.195
5. Roczen 52.927
6. Stewart 53.691
7. Bagget 54.469
8. Bloss 54.481
9. Plessinger 54.510
10. Barcia 54.727

We learned a couple of things today...

1) Tomac and Webb have a level the rest of them don't.

2) Barcia must think he will have done something great for the sport if he breaks Tomac's leg like he did Bowers. What is wrong with that guy? And then he runs around mid-pack. Why, Justin, why do you do these things? Your legacy of hitting people after they pass you is already secure.

Ohhhh yeahhh.. everyone including ET probably braced for that contact and then Barcia throws out the anchor.
He sure has been disappointing in the SLC races. Given Roczen is having major issues if Barcia had finished better than 1 position ahead he could have made some good points and worked towards saving that Yamaha ride

Eli took the bait like James Stewart getting called slow by Chad Reed. Could have ended terribly wrong for 3. Was cool as hell to see though

The fact that he wouldn’t is telling. I like that about him. In his head he will always be the amateur racer that nobody paid any mind to. Even with the number 1 plate and a KTM ride he’s an underdog with junkyard dog fight in him.

He was a lapper away from passing Tomac back and some of y’all act like Tomac was out cruising and could have turned it up had he needed to. That’s not what I saw. And I like both riders.
Oh boy, the Tomaniacs are going to flog you for that one. Any objective viewer could see exactly what you described but so many will deny it. And for those who think this has somehow deflated or shook Coop’s confidence, well, I guess we’ll know in a couple days. I think he’s going to be more confident than ever.

I like Ken and feel bad for him having to deal with so many issues but if Barcia just keeps plugging along, I think he gets 3rd in points even if Ken doesn’t pull out of the remaining races.

In the press conference Cooper said even if the lapper wasn’t there he wasn’t sure if he would have been able to get Eli. Also, it’s not like that is the only incident where lappers played a part in that race.

Webb is the only active SX rider that could have pulled it off. He’s done it before.

Oh so that means it's a sure a thing that he would have been able to do it in this scenario? Gotcha.

It’s possible.. but Barcia is still I think about 30 points down. With the way he’s been performing I don’t know he’ll make up the ground

Got what? Could have doesn’t mean sure thing. Basic reading comprehension.

Those 2 were willing to die and lose it all..... Everyone else. Not so much.

Boy oh Boy! I cant wait for Wednesday!

Side Note: Imagine that little talk with yourself as you are up shifting and adjusting the throttle heading to that muddy faced triple every lap. We have all been there. It's that little mini fight with your brain to tell your wrist to stay in it and then you let off and just double it. These duders were just sending it and were using pure skill to simply save it each time. Those are rare moments to witness. I fully enjoyed that main.

It was a great race today.
When James Stewart says that...it's true.

Right now...Eli Tomac IS the FMOTP.

What’s sick is that Webb said “I pulled the trigger on that triple from the inside and knew I was gonna case it, but didn’t!”

That’s a whole nother level of giant gnads!
