How many laps down until they should start pulling guys off the track lol? 3? 4?

Unreal race by Webb and ET. I still can't believe what I just saw.

I'm mostly kidding. Navigating the lappers was the best part of that race. They were going by them so fast, it looked like a GNCC. (edit: no disrespect to the lappers intended at all. I know they're pissed)

I completely agree. Tomac and Webb were incredible! No one could touch them. But the amount of lappers in the way was unreal. I get they are a part of racing, but when they are consistently in the way it gets really frustrating. Without them, I don’t think Webb would have been as close as he was the last few laps.

That was just an unreal display. I'm trying to think where two guys were just that much better on a given day. Fooken crazy.

Roczen was lapped twice. Everyone qualified to make the main. Let them finish the race they’re in, IMO.

The lappers made it a tight race and an exciting finish.

Without them Eli would have cruised to an easy win. They should try a little harder to get out of the way though.

It looked to me like the lappers affected both about the same. If not for the green bike that got in Webb’s way right at the end, we may have seen much closer finish.

Lappers are part of the deal and they played a big roll in what see saw last night.

They have the ability to go outside the stadium, don't they? Wish they would utilize that purely just to add some length to the track.

Respectfully disagree. Lappers should not have an effect on the front runner’s race. It’s frustrating af as a fan having lappers have such a drastic involvement like they did in the 250 class this week.

Lappers add excitement and luck factor but it's definitely unsafe in situations like today and ulti it doesn't end in a lapper hurting a Tomac or a Webb I doubt they'll do something

You do realize the lappers, are still racing, right? They may not be racing for the win, but they are racing for their position and points.

So you want to deny them the ability to race a full race, as full as they can, and earn 5th, 6th, 10th or 13th and the year end points paying points and bonus paying positions?

I like the idea of stopping the race midway, eliminating the last 8 riders (or therabouts) and having a single file restart. Would make for better racing IMO.

They could have a "pit bike", like a "pit car".

Extra points if it's an actual pit bike, like a crf50, that actually busts some air.

No. That’s what the blue flag is for.

This thread comes up each season. Why do people cry so much about lappers? Does it hurt to watch someone struggle or not put in effort? They paid and made the Main therefore they race until the finish or cannot continue.

I think these threads come from the everyone gets a trophy crowd.
