Anyone want to bet me that this is the end of JGR in motocross? Coy Gibbs has always run the motocross effort. With the passing of JD Gibbs, Coy is now Nascar 100% and tossed the motocross effort over to J-Bones. Nascar has always paid the bills. I think the motocross effort began as something Coy could have of his.

With all this happening, struggles for sponsors, etc. the motocross effort is probably done.

If JGR dirt bike racing goes away then a prospective team owner, (Not a current one) would be wise to buy up as much of their infrastructure and equipment as possible to start his own team and If that someone was somebody like Bobby Hewitt he'd be able to resume at a pretty high level I think that Could potentially work really well For someone like Bobby if the rumors are true and if and only if they are true that he would want to go to the song a dance again to start another teen I doubt I would but if jgr goes away someone should buy a boat is much of their team infrastructures possible if they are planning on starting a team for themselves to run

Does anyone think it is strange that they also shut down their R&D in India where they are the #! manufacturer. In that

Very true. Apart from Bowers getting so Kawi support there is not a lot going for the guys in green outside of the factory team in the 450 class (apologies to A-Ray and the Cat). One has to think the amount of money spent on Tomac plus AC is a fair bit and maybe doesn't leave much room in the racing budget for a satellite team.

Kawasaki have deeper pockets than KTM/Husqvarna and they have Musquin, Webb, Anderson, Wilson, and Osborne.

I would think Kawasaki could easily support another team if they wanted to.

The economy has fallen through it own arse and I predict more teams will be cuttin fat in order to survive.

Once this Covid is over there will be plenty free agents needing work and I'm postive the indusrty will pull through and people will be back to work.


Its happening everywhere, people are losing their jobs in all types of insdusrty.

It cant last for ever, so will soon see a whole new structured indusrty pretty soon. It aint there end of the world.

Can't wait to see if indeed the JGR-TLD theory ends up happening in either red, orange or white "KTMs" and this hypothetical team has no results, to whom vitards will hold responsible for:

1. Team management
2. Bike excuse (which should have to since they will no longer be on the yellow "POS")
3. Gasgas is a „new“ platform

2021 can't come soon enough

To be honest I don't really know why JGR is still involved in our sport. They have NASCAR and with Ty Gibbs (Coach Gibbs grandson) a family member who's on the edge of breaking trough into the big NASCAR ranks. They probably have a bigger passion for the sport then most of us think!
