Finally decided to get a nice bike! Won’t get to hit the dirt until June 11th. 5 weeks post op, got a screw in my scaphoid. Just got out of a cast and into a splint.

What seat is that? Looks cool with the orange base.

Not a necessity though, the rims can look like the set on the right but just have tape to seal off the holes. I run Stans Flow rims tubeless on all my trail bikes with tape and sealant.

My vitus Escarpe VRX have it now for nearly 2 years and can’t fault it. Great bike for the money.

Thinking about adding the new Enduro to the stable... or a Mega 290. Anyone got any input on either?

Yeah the reviews are pretty amazing. Gosh you're payin for the name though. The kit on an equivalent spend Mega is ridiculous... and good enough for Sam Hill... Well...

A good buddy of mine has the new enduro.. loves it on the downhills but says it is a pig to climb, worse than his Banshee Rune. No idea on the Mega but I'd stay away from any bike that doesn't have local dealer support.

Here's my toys...

That Snap is awesome! Have you had it for a while? Seem pretty rare now.

Yeah I don't think climbing is going to be the best part of any bike seeing how often I ride my Kenevo. Ebikes are awesome for the trails around Sydney and Central Coast... can get a lot of trails in a short amount of time for sure.

Enduro bike would be for acoustic days with mates and a race steed, so not sure. Apparently Nukeproof/CRC are pretty good handling warranty but obviously you have to ship anything back and forth. I've got a good relationship with the local Specialized dealer but damn it's pricey compared, relationship isn't that good haha.

Yeah I picked it up off CRC around 8 years ago now. The original build on it was more 4X oriented when that was still a thing.

If you have your heart set on a Mega there is a Nukeproof distro here in Brissy I believe...

Yeah have been in contact with them. Just hard to ignore that value but people rave about the Enduro going through rough stuff - and I tend to plow haha

Paying for the name and support from the shop you buy it from. I switched from a YT capra to a Giant Reign just because the warranty and the support from the shop I bought it from is so much better.
