After listening to his interview on race day live
I kinda felt like he knows he isn't gonna be at Yamaha next year. Of course he didn't say that but that was the impression I got.
What team do you think he would go to if he wasn't gonna go back to Yamaha?

Maybe the YZ is harder to dial in for Daytona than others? Certainly proven it works on an SX track. Remember RC talking about set up for Daytona, I think he said he kept his SX forks but switched out his shock...

Lets be honest here. If AC and MM were not hurt, Barcia would be 5th in points. He can't run with the top guys.

I'd really like to see Barcia on a different bike, as much as the media outlets rave about the YZ450, it just seems like after 10 years they've yet to get the bike to work well everywhere at the professional level as it still has its gremlins comparedntoball of the other brands

A race win and 2 other podiums at a speed consistent enough not to crash and hurt himself.

He was ahead of AC in points even prior to ACs injury.

I'll stand by my statement. He can't consistently run the pace of ET, KR,CW,AC or MM. And he qualified 12th for tonight.

You know what it is coming down to is that there needs to be more 450 rides available. Yamaha needs to follow KTM/Husky and Honda and put serious support into a second 450 team.

This is stupid. AC crashed out of the series running the pace of AC. He didn’t survive the pace that had him behind Barcia in points.
So which “what ifs “ are on the table?
How about, what if Barcia was on factory KTM or Honda?
Maybe you should skip the racing and write SX fan fiction instead.

I'd be curious to see what Alessi and a MCR honda could do with Barcia.

He’s too good outdoors to be on a supercross only team.

AC is about 70sec off the pace.
And in the voice of Justin Barcia:
“Oh, that’s right, I forgot, f**k you IndyWink

He was just talking about It being a contract year and that he is trying to show all the teams that he is Still worthy.

In a format where 22 guys qualify for the sx main, there is only ever going to be about 20 good rides max.

Last week he ran a 51.5 which was not far off of KR 51.0, and faster than Tomac's and Webb's fastest lap. He can run their pace.

I ll just say this Barcia always gets the criticism, some deserved some not, but you don’t stumble into 3rd place this far into the season, if you cant run the pace.
He beats these guys week in week out, gets awesome starts and even has come from way back to land on the podium in a few races.
What pace is AC and Marvin running?

Oh 3 seconds off the pace, qualified 12 you say. Then goes out and has a great heat race.
Qualifying times don’t mean shit

I don't understand how people dont get the irony in saying that "X" rider is only where he is because so and so got injured......
