With AC and Webb going out the championship basically became a two-man race, maybe three if you include Anderson. Surprised it wasn't discussed more by Ralph and Ricky.

Barcia is closer than Anderson

Tomac has this in the bag unless he hurts himself too. It’s been a great season up to this point but with Webb and AC out it’s going to get a lot less exciting.

There’s nothing promotable about losing 50% of your championship contenders. If it was the other way around, say the title turning into a 5 or 6 man battle, it definitely would have been hyped up.

Ralph and RC are supposed to make the races more exciting, not discuss how the series just got a little more boring.

Well you pretty much nailed on the head why Ralph and RC suck... the NASCARification of supercross. How about we deal in reality?

There is a lot of great racing even without Webb and AC, as Arlington showed. Tomac is not infallible nor is Ken. One DNF from them and Barcia and Anderson are not too far off, they've been really fast lately. It also gives guys like Baggett or maybe even Mookie or Hill a greater chance to pull out a surprise win, which would be awesome.

It was always a one man championship this year. Tomac is not going to let this one go no matter who is racing.

“it ain’t over till it’s over”

Tomac was killing it and the field....until he obliterated both shoulders in the nationals a while back.

Another Barcia win or a win by Anderson and this thing comes right back to life. Webb was the biggest threat, but Roczen is still right there. All it takes is a footpeg in the spokes to dice it all up, we've seen it before.

That said, if I'm betting? I'm putting money on Tomac to get it done.

You’ve got be kidding right? This is why sports in general are fun to watch. Yes ET seems mentally stronger than in years past but anything can happen, mechanical, rider error, another rider error, geez didn’t you see Webb? He’s not known as a big crasher and ate poop. To say this is over half way through the season is just dumb. Also I wouldn’t be surprised to see the #2 back. He’s one tough dude. I’m no coop fan but you’ve gotta respect him for his tenacity.

Cianciarulo was 5th heading in to Dallas so not sure why his results there makes it a "two man race", disregarding at least 2 who were (and are still) in front of him. Webb, IMO is in the championship picture, even after a 12th place Dallas finish.

Webb will be back in Atlanta according to main event moto. So he’s only 26 back and not missing a race. But I still think it’s between kenny and tomac. I have kenny taking it

Hes more than 1 race behind eli. Hes going to be sore next weekend and likely that will hurt his result. We can assume eli will podium the next 2 weeks. Daytona is coming up and thats elis bread and butter. Add into it that theres still an assload of good dudes that can put space between webb and eli.

Its not over till its over but the immediate future is looking bad for webb unless eli and kenny have issues.

I think the title is Eli's for the taking , BUT.....all it takes is one bad race and everything can tighten back up. Cool thing about this sport , you just never know.

We haven't even hit the point where there's a points lead that's out of any rider in the top four's hands. All Webb needs to do is beat Eli/Ken, and he has the Championship. The same goes for either of the other three.

Webb needs to plan on winning 8 more races to do it. 26 points with eli and ken riding the way they are is a tall order.

Eli...if he rides within just 90% of his ability, he'll have a 10 win season.

Far to inconsistent to do that.

Some thing will happen to him, it always does as history proves.

If he rides at full speed for the whole moto, that will be a miracle!

But hey Roczen did it a messed foot the next week
