Glad he is okay, he must have some Gajser miracle cure where your body turns into rubber.

Great news for Webb. I was expecting to read broken coccyx like Villo. There must be a lot of deleted posts in this bad boy because it goes off the rails and then shit gets confusing.

I am stoked that Webb is okay. Not done yet. It is sad that he is pretty much out of the Championship race at this point.

Good news he’s not seriously injured, I thought for sure he would have broken something somewhere.

Wonder what the recovery is? Can he ride this week sore and try salvage some points? Or is this a few weeks off the bike?

Yeah, there was a guy who went completely left field tough guy, and shit got really weird. Probably best that you missed it.

My accident was workplace but was a 9 foot fall onto concrete on my back. Burst L1 vertebrae and had a fusion of 5 vertebrae. I am way older, but landing on concrete from that height is bad 95% of the time.

And if they took him to the ER that quick something is broken is my guess
Concrete definitely seems harder as I get older. .
Just saying...👌

So now Webb doesn't have a lot to lose... do we see a different racing style from him? He can be a bit 'tough guy' if he wants and Ken & Eli will give him a wide berth in fear of getting tangled up in something that could end in a fall.

Worth thinking about.

Why do “you people” always have to tell us about how you’re “not a fan” of a guy who got hurt, first and foremost? who gives a shit !!

“Ya bro I’m not a fan of said rider, in fact I was hoping he got punted off the track. I was hoping his little brother caught the corona virus, I was hoping His mom got into a gnarly car accident on the way home from dollar general.... but man I hate to see the guy get hurt like that” 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

He did still finish 12th.. triple crown might have saved him if he’s good to go.. still think tomac will have One or 2 bad races.

Jackhammered compacted dirt lol? No I haven't, I usually use a spade and a pick. You work in an office or something?

Shut up you moran.
I love it when people try to insult one another on here and can’t even use the correct term 😂

Webb seems to have luck on his side on worst nights for sure.

So glad Webb is OK! Love his hard charging, never give up attitude, and he SHOULD give it up to the Lord! He’s a lucky man, that’s for sure!

Have you ever jackhammered compacted dirt? There's not much difference. A body slam is a body slam, both of them on very hard surfaces.

You smokin crack? You need a point and 90 lb hammer to break concrete. You can use a small clay spade with 6” wide spade and dirt is still easy to get through. Did you ever do a hard trail run vs a hard asphalt run? The difference in soreness the next day is unreal. Get back to your desk Sally.

That's great news that he's just bruised not broken. I assume "deep bone bruise" is something that will linger for a while though.

Now, can somebody please fill me in on the action I missed around page 2-3 that appears to have been deleted? Maybe I just need to finish my coffee and re-read...

Seems that this thread got weird after I went to bed, and then got even more weirder (sic) when some comments apparently got deleted, making later comments make no sense at all.
I am really glad to hear that Webb is basically just bruised up.

On another note, Webb has been vocal about his faith in God, and I can't understand people criticizing comments which back him up in this area. If you believe differently, that is your business, but mocking and criticizing the faith of others is as classless as it gets.

Typical compressive strength of compacted earth: 10-34 psi
Typical compressive strength of concrete: 3000-5000 psi
My conclusion is I would rather land on dirt than concrete.
None of this matters since Cooper landed on plywood with a layer of artificial turf under it.

Either I’m missing some sort of old long running joke or people don’t know the actual spelling of moron? Lol

They roll up the turf for non-football events in Arlington, leaving concrete. There is a layer of plywood placed on that.
