Suzuki haven't won a championship since Carmichael, Kawi hasn't won since Villopoto and so on, Rider > Bike everyday of the week.

I wrote that in a pretty different state, I take back what I said but again as you mention all those riders are elite.

You hire people to get the job done. In car racing ,you make the best car, it wins. In bikes, you dont win with the best bike unless you have best guy on it. Nascar is a control formula, how hard can it be.
Thats what Steve Hallam thought too

When they came out with the new frame, they changed the efi manufacturer.... the wheels are the same as the 2005.
Oooooh same wheels? Shocking man, how on earth can they expect to win with wheels designed 15 years ago?! No wonder!Whistling

JGR is not the problem its Suzuki. The only problem with JGR is they thought they could buy championships. If they switched to KTM/Husky or Kawi they would do much better. They have only used the two worst brands in the 450 Class Yamaha when that bike was horrible and they didn't run a 250 team and now Suzuki that hasn't changed their bikes in years. They also need a amateur program to bring riders up. They have just had the worst luck!
Stewart quit JGR to go ride a Suzuki and immediately started winning (Pre doping suspension)

JGR switched to Suzuki and didn't win.
Roczen switched to Suzuki & won.

The problem isn't Suzuki. The problem isn't the team. The problem is the riders.

If I was a top tier pro I wouldn’t want to ride a Zuk. It is an outdated heavy bike that doesn’t appear to have the same support as the other manufacturers. You would definitely be at a disadvantage lining up against the rest.
It will be interesting to see if Joey can get similar results like he did on the KX when he comes back. Seems like he only went to JGR because it was his last option at that point.

I am still a firm believer that the Suzuki is a capable bike. Sure, it probably needs a lot more modification and testing than some of the other bikes to get it where it needs to be, but JGR, and many of the other teams are plenty capable of doing that.

There were 4 Suzuki's in the 450 main at Tampa last night. That's more than KTM, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, and Yamaha had in the field.

More than anything, JGR has bad tuck and timing with picking their riders.

I would not use JS7, JGR and best in the same sentence. What he did with JGR was disgraceful.

Imagine all those poor kids on Minis kick starting bikes without a single complaint! And yet grown ass men, " it has a kick starter, I'm not buying that POS"!

Dude, they've struggled to even qualify through the LCQ so far this season, way too early to bring out the mission accomplished banners.

If the 2021 honda ends up being lightest and most powerful in class as they are claiming, and 2021 suzuki is bng the divide just gets even wider

JGR has never been a success, probably never will be. If I were KTM I wouldn’t give them shit. They have never done anything that makes anyone believe that they can be winners in SX. Look at Smart Top Honda now there is a team that has done well with a little factory support and a whole lot of passion. I don’t get the sense that JGR has that same level of passion for the sport. J Bone needs to be replaced or demoted, when the team loses you fire the coach not the players.

JGR is a successful NASCAR team, but cars and bikes aren’t the same thing. The vehicle dynamics are completely different. Kenny Roberts proved this many years ago when he hired some great F1 engineers to build a MotoGp bike. It was a complete failure. They just don’t understand that asphalt auto racing and motorcycle racing doesn’t use the same engineering goals. Rigid chassis are great for cars but not good for bikes.....

JGR is where your career goes to die.

JGR is the Cleveland Browns of moto. Nobody wants to go there unless the money is good, or they’re desperate.

Lol....the HEP riders would be in the same position on any brand. Tickle finishing 12th after almost 2 years away from racing proves the bike is capable. Savatgy will be right up there too. Noren and Max A will be very good outdoors. Again haters gonna hate.

This is just dumb!!!!

You have aboslutely no clue what your are talking about!!!! Seriously man. You havent the slightest clue what it takes to tool up a new bike even with minor updates the tooling costs are in the millions.

Suzuki had been at the forefront of most of the current technology used today.

That is the problem with forums in general people are normally sensitive & get their feelings hurt. Think logically & not with your feelings & maybe you’ll understand a bit..

Oh, well please help me understand?

What experiences have you had with the Suzuki? Please explain your logic? Because from what I can read there is non. Your saying the bike is heavy? Where is the weight at and at what point did you start to see it becoming a disadvantage? What exactly is outdated on the bike? The kick start?
(You may need to pull up the vitals cliffs notes on the subject) im sure you like many others on here have ZERO experience when it comes to this bike.

Your saying the jgr bike is at a disadvantage? Please elaborate?

My feelings dont get hurt whatsoever. I guess this is a case where I can't argue with stupid.

They haven't changed much tooling when approx 90 of the parts from the 2008 bolt up to the 2017.... I owned both, well a 2009 and a 2015.

RC was the first rider ever to lap a complete field of riders with the bike above. I mean, I need to have some sort of excuse to ride this old Zook in a sea of '19's and 20's

I may be going red next year if the '21 Honda is what I think it will be. But I will aways have a Zook in my fleet.
