I will. Didnt have time yesterday. I clocked 4 hours according to steam yesterday. And i cant really answer that because i actually never played 1 or 2. This is my first monster energy supercross game. I've been out of this sport for pretty long time and i think last game i actually put time into was mxgp, the first one. Im not new to mx games, i was quite damn fast at reflex, so i thought i would adapt to this quite fast. But it seems like i didnt do any progress in those 4 hours. I feel like the game lacks forward momentum really bad. Cornering and whoops feels good, the game looks nice. But jumping, i dont even know where to begin. Its supercross game so yeah i understand, timing and concistency is everything. And its supposed to be hard. But it feels like jumping in this game is the most unpredictable thing in this universe right now. Example, lets think there is basic bowl turn, and after that there is a triple + triple. First lap you nail the corner, try to jump the triple without "seatbounce" because, well, your nailed the corner, oops cased it. Next lap you nail the corner again, seat bounce with one stick (theres supposed to be two different seatbounces, with one stick and with both sticks) okay great cleared the first triple, good landing, cleared the second triple also, slight case but fine. Next lap you come again, this time, even better landing than before, this time time you case the second triple without literally any reason, the momentum just disappears. Next lap you nail perfectly the first triple and decide to seat bounce with both sticks to make sure you dont case, this time, i dont know what the hell happens, the second stick makes the bike boost forward WHILE IN THE AIR like in mario kart and you over jump like 50ft. Then again next lap you do the double seatbounce again but instead the bike jumps straight UPWARDS and you barely clear it as a double. And since there is zero chance to make a clean lap, if you fuck up once its over, you cant recover it. Clutch doesnt do anything, if you case and try to get back to the speed middle of rhythm section, its not going to happen. Okay i cased, i roll over the next jump and clutch bomb from its landing and im going to just double double double. Well your 250 just turned to 50cc and you cant regroup. Also, even the easiest jumps where you have good in-run every lap, becomes hard. You notice you're overjumping it and decide to let off the throttle 0,05 seconds before the take off, guess what? You're right, you will case the fuck out of it.

Also the tuff blocks are like land mines from the second world war, you even touch it you will literally explode. And the off track indicator, why even put it in the game if it doesnt even give you a chance to get back to the track. It says 5 seconds but before it even counts to 4, bam, you're re-spawned at the bottom of a huge double.

But yeah i suck at it but its definitely not just me. Will give it a second chance tonight though.

Most of us have been going quite a bit softer.

I'm full soft on rear, -3 on forks both compression and preload.

Rebound rear is like a +2 or +3 to try and tame the kick at the end of the whoops.

Been playing with both mid and long gear

Give that a whirl.

Loving this game so far but having trouble on corners. I either turn too much or turn too little and hit the tuff blocks every time. I feel like after I let go of the joy sticks from turning the bike still turns. anyone have cornering tips?

I have it on PC and its so far a lot of fun, takes a little time you get use to but have no complaints. I buy and then play the game with a open mind and look at it from a fun factor point of view so I have liked almost every moto game so far . I play them on a fast PC and not on Xbox one or PS4 so I can run everything at full levels and it never slows down and with the PC version its easy to get custom gear and bike graphics. Cool

The dead spots/moon boosts on certain jumps seem like recurring theme in the milestone games. I've spent a good amount of time on both MES2 and MES3 and they both seem to have that problem. I wouldn't say it's from deformation either, because there isn't much of that. I can only attribute it to whatever engine they are using for the terrain. It can be very inconsistent and frustrating at times.

Bunch of bugs, but over all, it's a fun game due to the reward factor you get from hitting a smooth line through the track. The learning curve is a big factor in this one, can't just pin and go like most arcade mx games.

The big negatives-
Getting first place, game says you got last. Or any variation of this, 5th to 18th and so on.
Clutch doesn't work, never worked, but you can use it to properly roll over a missed jump, gaining speed to get back into rhythm.
The Ai are extremely aggressive and purposely work against you. Oh and they almost never fall, but the slightest touch on you and your off the track or in the dirt.
Not being able to shift into 2nd from dead start. This sucks especially in wet tracks, and trying to get your speed up, you just spin and spin, till you can finally grab 2nd and some traction.
Components randomly not being on your bike.

Once they release an update addressing the bugs this game will be quite good.

Anyone looking for bike settings specs?
Try -5 on everything. Just like in mesx2 this seems to give you the best traction, and turning ability. And never seem to bottom out.

Play on PS4 hit me up for gamer tag.

Does anyone know if the PC version supports split screen multiplayer? If so, where is it located?

Do you have to choose a team on your first season or can you go the privateer route?

The setups I was using seem to slow the bike down. Will give this a try.

Is there cross play on this does anyone know? Need to know which version to buy my brother so I can play with him. He has an XB1 and my old gaming PC. The XB1 will probably perform/look better for him but I play on PC so if there isn't crossplay, I'll get him the PC version.

Hell yeah, this and the fixed suspension. On the y-axis, the front and rear tires remain level nearly 100% of the time, no matter how much you tire tap, or nose bonk. You know, something MVA already does.

It’s all good, yal all come crawling back with the next update, you know, cause rainbow studios doesn’t charge 60$ for updates.

I don't believe there's any cross platform gameplay with MESX 3 or the previous versions.

If I were you I'd just get the PC version.

I won a West Coast season on realistic Tongue Game is awesome, massive improvement on MES2, still loads of bugs and not really realistc but, IT'S A GAME

If you want the real thing go ride. Milestone are making huge improvements every release, it's awesome!

Oakland is my fav track so far.. but haven't ridden East Coast!

I played 3 hours yesterday and the first impression is good. They have made changes to the things people have complained most about i.e. free air physics and, better gameplay in the whoops (you can jump and scim them) and more options through the rhythm sections. It is a big step forward compared to the first two games. But like always with Milestone, there are some minor bugs.

The game is very well optimized. Unreal Engine 4 is working well, i have everything maxed out in 1440p (144hz monitor) and the frame rate is steady and high all the time.

Well worth the money in my opinion.

Logged a solid 3+ hours last night. At first, I was struggling big time. But after about an hour of racing I got the controls down pretty decently. Having a lot of fun with this one! Love riding for the factory teams, but for some reason can only choose between factory Yamaha or factory husqvarna. I guess maybe because I won the boot camp race? I’m not sure.

My main complaint, and this probably sounds funny to some, but why did they randomly decide to force us to have smaller names on our custom jersey? The last games you could have a bigger last name, now they limited it to a small unrealistic size and font. Let’s be real, it’s not hard to add fonts to the game lol. Can we PLEASE just have the devs take a solid couple hours of time to add some more fonts for our riders? And let us make them bigger! Thank youuuu

Yeah I’m on PC, hoping a patch will come and fix some of the bugs. I notice my jersey number disappearing at times. Also the AI is a little too easy on Realistic. On Realistic they should be hauling ass.

I'm running - 5 on all the rear settings & 0 on all the fronts.

Loving the game. I would say the most noticeable upgrade on the bike was the wheels, it kinda made the bike feel lighter ? but I was able to hit rhythms consistently.

Or mx vs atv unleashed. I spent about a million hours playing that game and it is still my favorite dirtbike game ever. Sucks it wont work on my xbox one so if I wanna play it with the kids I gotta go to the small tv that the 360 is hooked up to. Oh and it had local multiplayer. I want so bad for these new games to have that so I can sit on the couch and have fun playing with the kids.

Ive got about 30 min. on the new game and its different for sure. I was getting better at cornering but the jumps seemed inconsistent like mentioned by someone else. Like if you hit it the same 2 times in a row the outcome can be different. Ill give it some more time and see if I get a better feel for it.

I go +1 on the fork spring and -1 on front and rear compression. Keeps the bike stable and handles the whoops butter 👌also going softer was killing the preload for bigger hits.

Side note, who's idea at Milestone was it to make the Honda 250 sound like a Steerman biplane? 😂
