Lots of riders get away with worse. I think it's BS, but I wouldn't be surprised if they let it go. I would like to see some integrity.

Forkner stayed straight and on track, but turned after stopping and cut the corner. He never left the track until he cut. You can tell he was dancing around admitting guilt on the podium

In his defence by the time the bike rolled back down to the base of the take off it has spun around and was closer to riding the track backwards then heading to the nearest corner. Would have taken longer to turn it around again in a dangerous position.

He probably saved at least 5 seconds with that cut. I'm betting he gets 2 positions, or 10 seconds would be fair.
