Stop cutting inside till you hit them.. move outwards a few inches.. simple fix

This is my biggest peeve in moto! Why do track owners line the course with sketchy objects like hay bales, big tires and wooden stakes that are super dangerous and on blind spots of landings....cause moto isn’t dangerous enough already without the added stupidity. How’s about no course markers and rather the odd pylon row in potential hazardous or direction confusing areas. Full disclosure I broke my back and fractured a neck vertebrae when I landed on a hay bale on the landing of a small 30ft double. It is just so unnecessary to line the landing area with bales/tires/anything...rant over

If you want to be a smart ass read properly first. Lining the course means on the course not off the track obstacles. If I hit something off the track I would own it. Even that said there shouldn’t be sketchy shit right off the side of any obstacles either you douche.

Yes I have! +30 A class race , Albany mx at a golden state national ......3rd gear wide open until I was pushed off the track by Dan Moore. Still carrying enough speed to broad side it and shoot me about 10' in the air. Broke two fingers and a bunch of ribs.

Dude me too! Track was so dusty you couldn't see and it was just practice! Got out of the dust and there was the tractor tire. Had no time to react. Smashed my radiator and had coolant blow all over my leg. Never went back again.

Seen a youngin jump off the side and landed where the front tire went I'm the tire. Messed poor kid up pretty good. They may have a place but right next to the track, no way.

Wow .. i never thought of that. The fact that we are on tarmac and the tyres on on the grass, we dont even need them . And you cant judge where there they are relative to your bars at full lean.

Nope but, all of our local tracks liked to pile old car tyres 4 or 5 high to line parts (most of) the track.
I landed on them and was bounced off of my bike and we both went cartwheeling for a few metres.

Happened in '03 but took this photo a few weeks back.

Yes. There is one at Lincoln Trail in Illinois that has got me a few times to the tune of a shifter once, a radiator another time, and some ribs. But when that line works it’s sooo great for passing!!
