Thanks for validating, now I’ve lost all respect for one of my favorite riders.

So are folks getting out the pitchforks and torches over wheelying on public streets yet??????
There is a massive difference in zipping around your block and impeding traffic by wheelying down busy, main roads. I think the whole gang/wheelie boy stuff is lame but it is so much different than simply taking your bike up and down the road in front of your house.

Yeah I know it's technically illegal regardless but if you fail to see the difference you're just being daft. I'm sure a lot of us have quickly buzzed up the road and back for one reason or another, or have ridden 'for offroad only' things on a road. Big difference between being a 'wheelie boy' and just riding on the street in front of your house.

Yes, or perhaps we're old enough to not fall prey to whoever is "targeting" us, because we've learned over time that the word 'targeting' is often synonymous with the word "grifting." Gullibility, youth, and money are a very chic trifecta right now, the dumber, richer, and more ostentatious you are, the cooler you are, and that's fine for people like me, because the boomerang effect that is time will inevitably take hold and, once again, allow the beauty of wisdom to supplant all this foolishness......... for all but the most dedicatedly ignorant. And there's probably a 40-year-old out there somewhere drooling over that silly CRF that proves my point - 'cause he's dumb as a rock, walks around in 800 dollar, unlaced, shiny white Supreme-branded shoes and a 1000 dollar, China-made Supreme-branded hoodie four sizes too big for him - and he likes - no wait, he LOVES - being their patsy.

That being said I do think the bike is kinda ugly, but I think at this point they just enjoy pushing the envelope when it comes to collabs. I dare say most of them won’t even get ridden.

Its not liking it, its spending that much on a sticker that makes you 'dumb as a rock'. Did you spend 7k for a $50 sticker?
No, not all their stuff is expensive, their T-shirt’s snd sweaters are about the same price you would expect to pay for Fox.

Well, it's done now.

All the $17,000 CRF250Fs are sold out and Supreme fans are angry, clamoring that not enough were made available to the general public. The counterfeit graphics kits are up on Ebay.

Things remain as predictable as the rising sun: Supreme is in and out of another branding mission with a pile of cash, Vital is cranky, and new RMZs are still sitting in dealers for 5k.

Bizzaro world we live in.
If someone had told any of you a month ago that
Someone was gonna customise 75 CRF250f's with a sticker/graphics kit and sell them for 17k each I think we all would have said no way.
I am shocked that there are that many people that are both willing and able to be honest.

Yeah, man! I always wonder who these people are . . . like the mentality that make it cool to drop thousands for "bottle service" or whatever . . . . like if I was going to start a business, I'd want to go after the lowest IQ with the largest disposable income. Sort of like the custom Ruckus crowd; I always think "Now THAT is a target market!!!!" Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Anyone who shows up to a motocross track with one of these Supreme 250's should be ridiculed mercilessly. Something tells me we will never see one of these bikes at a motocross track.

So that only leaves me with one important question: why?

Because it’s a designer item. You can’t really question the logic behind many consumers’ choices. There really is no answer

Why buy diamonds? They serve no purpose (other than specific industrial needs, where they are dirt cheap). They are grossly overvalued. They are easily producible. And the population at large has reliably shelled out for them for a century.

That's actually a fun study in marketing in itself! De Beers family (I believe) knocked it out of the park with that one.

Most of the buyers probably do need a welcome to motocross introduction, because as others have said its highly unlikely that these will find there way to a motocross track.
