Congratulations to AC! It may be a small one off race but man he looks great on a 450! Very smooth and straight up fast.

Tomac blew it agains a very thin herd. His fans on here are cult like and will probably blow a head gasket over this, but he struggles in SX. Even tonight on a one off event with 2-3 people who are top tier level. He’s got a lot of internal conflict when he races stadiums.

Mookie looked great. Happy for him getting up there and pulling away from AC in the second Moto!

Maybe Gajser showing that you dont need to test for 3 months , and making a few people look very average , and Tomac cracking under what should have been zero pressure to take the Million shows how much it matters. Props to AC, hopefully he can do the same at A1

Yeah using that logic, Martin who hasn't raced for a year coming back from a major injury was racing/about same speed as the world champ, strange how that cold be possible...

Tim Gajser is a two-time world champion and was this year's MX1 overall winner at the MXoN. The dude can ride a dirt bike. There's a little too much patriotism here sometimes. All of the top MXGP guys could be competitive in America, outdoors or in.

At 9:41am central standard time on Sunday morning currently all I can think about is what Dillion’s phone call is going to be like on pulp tomorrow

And Philg takes the time to post in another mec thread even though he and no one else cares about this event. We get it. you hate this event and Eli Tomac. Now go away.

Barcia being Barcia, 5th-10th riding like a dick. I didn't see it on the coverage though what did he do this time? Or to who, as it's pretty easy to guess what he did.

Exactley.. Mookie and Freise coming back after injury, Martin coming back on 450, Gajser rocking up on holiday, and all of them making Barcia and Plessinger look ordinary. Granted Plessinger had a fall, but even so, the blue boys will have a long wait till A1.
Even though it was a weak field , it was an entertaining event, thanks to AC.

If you're already a multi-millionaire, with a comfortable life and a secure job with earning potential next season of MORE than a million dollars, you're one of the biggest names in the industry, I don't think winning another Million in one night is a HUGE deal to them.

I think it was good racing and fun to watch. No doubt it is risky for the guys though but many of them also get hurt just practicing.

Tomac was a little faster than AC (not much) but on that track he would have to of gotten really aggressive to make the pass and you could tell he was not going to do that with Adam. At least not on this night.

This is not true at all......Greed is good.........Ask any rich guy how much is enough and most will just tell you "MORE"

I'll bet that the only thing Eli was thinking was " I have to put that million in my pocket" And it has nothing to do with how much Eli has in the bank.

Maybe some Rich guys will chime in here and explain how Greed works...Laughing Chasing money is not much different than wanting to win every time you play.....

Why is earning money considered “greed” don’t you have a job and want to be paid more? I just don’t understand this way of thinking, what happened to the American dream, what happened to wanting to be successful, when did wanting to earn more compensation for your skill set become a bad thing?

No need to attempt to respond ... I know the answer and it’s sad.

Truer words haven't been spoken brother!

You can god damn bet , that any racer showing up to that race is thinking , I could take home 1 mil , or 100k. To say that ANY rider isn't really worried about possibly banking that amount of money , in 3 short races , in one night......you are insane. To think that a rider would think " Pfftt.....big deal , it's only a million dollar's , not really craing if I win it or not"........haha , you are clueless if that's what you think.

except that only one rider has any pressure or motivation after the first race.
and then by the third, unless someone has 2 wins
its a non issue.
as someone said, they really dont want anyone to win the mill this year, with the track changing.

Of course they look happy. My point is, it is just relative.
I explained this in another thread.

If you’ve got $1000 dollars in the bank and you have the opportunity to go earn $250 dollars in an afternoon, how do you feel about it? Sure, you’ll go for it, but that $250 isn’t going to make or break you, is it?

If you’ve got $10’000 in the bank and you have the opportunity to go earn $2500 in an afternoon, how do you feel about it?

If youve got $4’000’000 in the bank...

You get my drift?? A million dollars to those of us with relatively little money is a BIG deal, but if you’ve already got multi-millions..?

Want to make sure I’m on same page as everyone else. Any time Eli crashes indoors he is blowing it or throwing it away. It’s no longer a mistake that can happen to anyway. And are we crowning AC9 the new king and changing of the guard yet? I never know how to judge a one off race.
