Any idea which brand pegs were breaking? Looking for a lower peg for my YZ. Do I need to be looking for titanium lowering pegs? so far I have only seen lowering pegs from FLO.
I have seen one set of Flo break and another off brand. I only use Ti pegs. I’d use stock pegs before aluminum ones personally.

Yeah, I didn’t realize just how bad aluminum pegs were. I usually just run the OEM pegs. I thought I found the solution with fastway pegs but their website says they can’t be run in the low position on Yamaha. That’s kind of stupid considering I could run my OEM Kawi pegs lower. Yamaha is one of the brands that needs the low option...
Anyhow, thanks for the GOOD advice!!!
You can try running older yz pegs from like an 07 450 they were like 5ml lower . That's what I did on my 14 yz

I run Maxima in mine. Honestly couldn’t feel a difference. I have always run Maxima and I change it every 15 hours or so.

Getting frustrated calling around to dealers... either sold out or still think they are made out of gold. One guy at a dealer in north phoenix wanted 7700 for a 2019 with 10 hours on it... I was like man that thing is used!!! WTF!

I hope you find a deal but honestly kawi screwed us last generation when they whored them out cheap. My 16 I traded it for 4200 terrible re sale lol.
I still have my 16 which I purchased for $8,000 OTD. I would rather just keep as a second or 3rd bike than to just throw away $4,000 like that. Mine has 7 hrs on it.

I’d rather make it into a flat track bike then to give it away for $4,000. And get some use out of it. Looks like I will be driving up to Oregon to get a 2020.

My problem is I have ran out of space in my garage because it’s full of motorcycles.

Has anybody tore the button on the launch control? Ojd a jump pretty bad today, blew my hands off, and apparently tore the switch. Noticed while washing the bike. I have one more ride this weekend before parking it for a while, but it's more than a week to get one through the dealers, or online. Any issue running it like this?

No, or just unplug all together and take it off.

Iv has a carbon fiber plate on all my bikes. They will damn near last forever. They are very strong. I would recommend CRM, but they are very difficult to get a hold of. I have a CRM on one bike and a Lightspeed on the other.

I just use the Acerbis plastic ones now. Work just as well, light and much cheaper.

Break it down and grease it, especially the steering stem bearings

Do you guys think there is a chance of Kawasaki releasing a 2020 Works or Factory Edition 450 before the 2021s come out?

Yeah they are fulla crap. You can look up the part numbers on Partshark or any OEM database (like on Rocky Mtn etc.). The part numbers haven't changed from the old 18 and below and the current models.

PLATE-NUMBER,B.WHITE
58029-0013-266

PLATE-NUMBER,L.GREEN
58029-0013-290

FENDER-FRONT,L.GREEN

Question for you guys. See if anyone has had same problem. 2019 kx 450 with 50 hours on it. Has happened 2 times now coming into a turn and bike just quits. The first time I thought bike locked up. Electric start wouldn’t turn over. Then 10 seconds later it fires right up. Now 2 hours put on it since then and did it again today. Any ideas? Connection or electrical?
