I didn’t get or use any washers on my rear brake when I installed the Rekluse clutch cover that came with my Rekluse Radius CX kit. Give them a call, they are very helpful!!!
This is actually a picture of my Yamaha (so don’t let that confuse you) but this is the threaded bolt/rod that you need to cut the bottom off to give you more room to adjust your brake pedal lower... this may or may not help some of you guys that might be dragging your brake a little and not even...
I think it was MXA that said they cut the bottom of the rear brake adjustment bolt/rod to enable the rear brake pedal more room to be adjusted downward. I did mine before ever riding the bike and have never had an issue. Maybe give it a try???
I came from a 2017.5 KTM SXF450 Factory Edition and for me (215 lbs, vet B rider) the Kawi is so much better.... The engine is so much more responsive and intuitive. The whole bike is just better. A suspension spring and revalve was a must though.
Yeah, I didn’t realize just how bad aluminum pegs were. I usually just run the OEM pegs. I thought I found the solution with fastway pegs but their website says they can’t be run in the low position on Yamaha. That’s kind of stupid considering I could run my OEM Kawi pegs lower. Yamaha is one of the brands that...
Any idea which brand pegs were breaking? Looking for a lower peg for my YZ. Do I need to be looking for titanium lowering pegs? so far I have only seen lowering pegs from FLO.
I added a link but went with a rental sprocket, if I remember correctly there are two different bolt hole options, one of which has a little deeper bevel. And I bought some Talon sprocket bolts that are a little lower profile than the stock OEM bolt heads. That gave me just enough room to clear the welds...
I didn’t rev the bike to high with the low hour(s) on it but I would say the YZ had a little more low and mid range grunt compared to the Kawi with the white coupler. Sounds like Moto620 has a little more seat time on his YZ... maybe he can add more?
Man I don’t know... I really like my 19 KX450 but I just picked up a 2020 YZF450 and it really seems like a great “all around” package. I’m a 50 year old, 215lbs, slow vet “B” rider who’s best days are behind him...lol. My Kawi always felt like it fought me a little on initial turn in and then...
DB, you nailed it. The noise that I thought was coming from my clutch was actually just the lower TM Design chain roller. I threw the stock OEM roller on and got in one moto Sunday before it rained here. No noise with the stock roller. I can live with the noise now that I know it’s “normal”. Time to...
Yeah, that’s what I did and looks like that’s the way I had it.... with the center ridge towards the outside facing the left foot peg and shifter. You would think they would cover that with some install direction...
DB, do you or anyone else know which way the lower TM chain roller goes on? The raised center is off set so that there is a wider and a thinner side...
Yeah my bike does it from the first lap... I think DB is right, I bet it’s the lower TM Designs chain roller. The noise also doesn’t seem to relate to the clutch/Engine RPM’s. I didn’t notice but I wonder if I do a extra hard brake tap and hold it to stop the wheel/chain completely if the noise would...
