Have you noticed any changes when cutting the screen?
Wondering if the same changes will be with my 250.

I wouldn't cut the screen. Just buy the Fast Flow kit from No Toil, it's only $50.00.

Curious about that as well. I recently installed a PC TI-6 system on mine and I just snugged them as I always have on my previous bikes. Maybe it is time to invest in a torque wrench..

Yeah lol.. I was just referring to the air flow difference in performance.

On this bike.... don’t go with the twin wall unless you want to eliminate some of the electronics with those space saving buttons/plates. The twin walls don’t provide enough bar room. Might look into Mika or protaper oversized bars with crossbar

Yeah that's why I don't.

Does anybody know the torque specs for the engine bracket mounts?

Hmm. I saw a 2019 in the for sale section with twin walls and it seemed like everything fit. I had pro tapers in the past and they bent on a small tip over. I'll have to look into the Mika's.

Here you go. Make sure to follow the torque procedure as well.

A guy posted this a while back and did a great job on it. I printed this out and had it laminated. Keep it in my tool box.
But the engine mounts aren't on there.

I included what I thought would most be commonly used to keep it printable and easy to read. I figured if your getting into more, you would want to reference the manual. Glad you like it.

Anyone have an issue with their Rekluse clutch making strange noises? Mine makes a strange whirling noise but I only hear it when in the air, while jumping. I’m also running the Rekluse Radius CX Auto clutch but it has some similar internals as the Rekluse Torque Drive. I do have the TM slider and chain guide and I greased the upper chain roller... It’s strange, the clutch function fine but makes this noise in the air. I have not done the clutch rod mod but I don’t think that’s the problem, it makes noise from the first lap and I really don’t ride that hard anymore... +50 vet rider... Also, I never heard this noise on my 2016.

DB, do you or anyone else know which way the lower TM chain roller goes on? The raised center is off set so that there is a wider and a thinner side...

I just eyed it to make the strip line up with the middle of the chain. Lip to the outside on mine.

Yeah, that’s what I did and looks like that’s the way I had it.... with the center ridge towards the outside facing the left foot peg and shifter. You would think they would cover that with some install direction...

Yes it's great. I was putting my suspension back on my new bike tonight after I got it back from FC.
I used it a bunch! Still have more to do and it will come in handy.

I'm a die hard Yamaha guy . This is the first kawie and have to say it's by far the best bike I've ever ridden . The harder you push it the better it gets . Although I'm old slow guy this thing rocks

Being a 62 year old vet rider myself that's good to hear. I sold my 16 KX450 and bought a 19. I should have it going this weekend.
I only weigh 151 so I had FC do my suspension, and also had it apart to grease everything.
Looking forward to spinning some laps. I bought a graphics set from a company out of Cali, Split Designs, so I'm excited to get those on too.

Did my forks today. Drained out about 590cc total so not as bad as some of you guys but still a little low. The oil was nasty though, black and brown mess.

Even brand new forks taken apart are gonna have some dark oil. seems that the springs and slide pipes are dirty from manufacturing. 1st service is the most critical

That's right on the money. 310 is stock and no matter how thorough you are you always leave a film of oil on everything, spring, tubes, cartridge, bushings, etc.. that amounts to about 15cc. I have checked 3 and 295cc came out of all of them so that would be 310 per side.

Cool, good to know. I filled back up to 320 on each side, hoping I could open up the compression a bit more without bottoming.
