Cooper looked pretty exhausted. Wonder if he can keep a good pace when the track gets rough tomorrow for 10 more minutes.

It’s understandable though. Sometimes you win and feel great doing it, sometimes you feel like you didn’t ride all that well. I had that a few weeks ago. First race in 3 1/2 years and went 2-1, but my riding felt terrible.

He laid it all out there at WW ranch this summer in the heat and humidity, I think he’ll manage.

If Cooper and Vlaanderen can both get near each other tomorrow, we should be in for one hell of a battle - both very impressive. Keen to see Team GB off the ground for once in this last race...

Vlanderen has cut two/three secs from Cooper in last few laps.
Cooper is likely in management mode at that point.
Quite possibly. But once Vlaanderen was into 2nd the gap was coming down fairly consistently.

Cooper was really impressive though, Im not trying pretend otherwise.

will be interesting at race day if Cooper and Vlaanderen can match each others pace .. dont think Vlaanderen went full in this quali race , no need to

Switzerland looks safe to qualify. What the heck is
GB doing?

It’s going to be interesting to see how Osborne matches up against Coldenhof. If he beats him...then it’s definitely on for USA tomorrow.

Yep and then you have the retards like Loots that think only the Americans get tired... He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I am here and watching every race...
Cooper did so well!!
But I am thinking... When Ferrandis was here?

The track is perfekt! I walk there yesterday an today. Don't feel like an sand race. More like a stadium race.

So USA looking good! Maybe they trained on the wrong terrain :/

Assen is something spacial.
Good people and party.
And no shit talking about europ and the US 😉

Only on Vital.... Socalmedia fans 🤣

Well, I guess that extra 10 minutes is the same for everyone else.

Shocked by the amount of Dutch people glued to Vital, rather than being at the race!

...except, Cooper was gapping the field until the last five laps. Cooper's lap times dropped while CV's were relatively the same.

He was absolutely flying at the end there.

The biggest difference Cooper is making is being on it right from the start. Practice he went out and was charging way earlier than anyone else. In that race he pulled an amazing start and was charging right away. Vlaanderen was catching him once he got into second, but it took him far too long to get going. That could make a big difference tomorrow because there could be 4 or 5 450 riders between them if the same happens.
