Yet again, they have nearly ruined a formerly great track. So disappointing to watch this today.

Track looked awesome and the racing was epic. Great to hear so many riders say they liked it/favorite track so far this year. Long live Unadilla.

If the tracked looked like that today, I'm investing in Kleenex.

It was labelled an Euro track as an excuse for when the Euros won.

One of my greatest memories is cutting the grass with my footpegs in first practice...while hitting hidden 20 year old bumps and holes. It certainly is different these days. But the venue is still rich in US and Euro history.

If it was so much of a euro track why isn’t on flat ground inside a road course? Dilla is an American track!!
They call it a euro track because all the locals wear Speedos and clogs.

"euro tracks" designs typically flow with terrain, up down and around using the natural features to test rider skill. so things like off cambers, sweeping turns etc, whereas american tracks get built with banked turns, everything is a jump and lanes are straighter

think like mountain bikes or snowboarding. a groomed course (us) vs a natural trail (euro)

euro designed tracks were Unadilla, budds creek, high point and Steel city. places where the USGP was held

Matthes: You did well here last year of course, today you took the overall... Is it too easy to say that it's a European track?

Ferrandis: It's not a European track, I don't know why everybody says that. I mean, I've never seen a track in Europe that has two-minute twenty-second laps; it doesn't exist. It's not European at all. It's up and down everywhere, I don't understand why people say that. It's just a gnarly track.

Because the American fan base feels the need to pander to any rider not from America.

Its a shame it isnt like that now, proper bumps, and loam, Rode there earlier in the year and it was almost hard pack in places . no loam anywhere, They left it as it was and didnt rip it cos of the possibility of rain.. still cool as hell, nothing special about it as far as getting round goes, but great place to race .
