My buddies low hour super clean 05 250.

I rode raced all the 1988-2007 CR250’s
1988- great bike
1992-96 - super bikes!- have a 92- with less than 5 hrs on it- full pc pipe/ hrc graphics,revaled suspension- best 2 stroke Honda engine ever!
97-98 avoid
2001 okay
2002-07 good bikes, weak engine- great durabilty
probably have 250-300 hrs hard use
tall seat, pc pipe, rad valve
I fill the tank- and ride a 45 mile loop
thru the erzburgh style terrain on the
iron range in mine dumps in northern
mn

My 1998 CR250

I have searched high and low for a decent cr whether it be a 125 , or a 250 . I originally wanted a steel frame , and still would consider one . But honestly the quality of what is for sale is eithie fully restored and 4k or completely clapped for 2k around my area . Seen a guy selling a cr 500 in my area the other say said it was a 250 with a big bore kit... smh....

On the other hand I wont give up on finding my red 2stroke ....

Love my cr125 and 250. Put air strikers on both of them and generally don’t have problems out of either of them.

Where did you get that case saver? I checked Zeta's website and they only have them for 10' and current CRFs

Very cool bikes in here! Picked up a 05 250 over the winter and rebuilt it . My 2015 yz250 has not been out of the garage since the cr was completed.
