Sitting here watching the press day videos, are they serious with this track? Looks like a hammered mid week practice track. Why in the world would they hold a pro national here?

We’ll see how it shapes up for the actual race.

The condition doesn't bother me nearly as much as the layout. At first glance, it looks like it will be a follow the leader kind of day.

I think it looks fine. Fast, for sure...but should be good for racing.

I'm not very impressed with it either. It's mostly flat without a whole lot of rhythm options, or difficult jumps. There were a lot of rocks in practice too. Plus that first turn gets really skinny.

I do love the track with the elevation changes. I was surprised at the lap times. Not a very long track but that's being picky

Fox/Pala is 1000x better than Elsinore when it was being used back in 2012-13. Glen Helen is still the best track for a National in So Cal but I can't blame MX Sports for not wanting to deal with the ownership drama.
