They are talking about the American endurocross series.

I can't believe I need to explain this concept. Here I go...ANY series connected to the term Endurocross is TRARNISHED. That cheating incident elevated the series status to align with WWF legitimacy. Promoters are well aware of this negative imagine and are afraid to fund a series. You feel me?

I will drop it from here and not mis guide the topic since it's clear we can't have a conversation with differing opinions regarding endurocross.

It's not even differing opinions, you're just fucking wrong. Don't you have another thread to screw up while the adults here can have a legit conversation about what happened and where we go from here?

Have a good night bud, hopefully your hangover isn't too bad tomorrow.
I'm sure you find your insulting comments acceptable.

The demise of this series is good IMO because the sponsorship money will most likely go to supercross.

I'm sticking to the cheating incident was the nail in the coffin. No sponsor wants to be associated with that corruption. basically Husky paid for that championship. Fans are smart enough to connect the dots.

I hope endurocross hangs around. More entertaining/exciting than supercross or arenacross. Lots of passing, crashes, and how the hell he'd do that??
I went to it twice here in Atlanta. One of those times was a first date, and she had a blast. But screw growing the sport right? Motocross or die.

I loved watching the live streams! It was sick to see members of the forum getting amongst it, racing or not.

I was lucky enough to see every round of the SuperEnduro (the "damb" euro series) live on TV this season but, even though the races were exciting and well attended, with big names lining up, it wasn't the same.

Pretty spewin'.

The demise of a series is never good. People lose jobs. Do you eat the same meal every night? I love Supercross but there are lots of other great forms of motorcycle racing. Open your mind a bit.

I always found Endurocross entertaining though I do prefer Super Enduro mainly because of the riders. I do wish EX would have added a bit of elevation like in Enduro X. That was wicked.

Anyway, I'm bummed it's gone. Not good news.

I love moto, I only watched about 15 minutes of 3 races in the lifetime of that series!

Whatever side you take in the the Haaker/Webb/Gomez championship drama, it makes people more passionate about the riders and the races in general. That benefits the series in the grand scheme of things. A sport with heroes and villains is more interesting than a series full of boring ass squeaky clean media types. The biggest star/legend that NASCAR ever had was regularly booed, even after winning races.

Agreed. The only way I enjoy any sport is when I have someone I cheer for and someone I can't stand. Heroes and villains. I felt for Cody but I look forward to next year. Gomez... not a fan.

I'm lost. What am I missing in the video? Anyone have a cliff note version of what happened?

The video doesn't quite explain the story. Gomez (Husq) pulled over on the last corner, pushed Tarez, and let Haaker by to put points up on Webb. People are upset because Gomez didn't pretend to stall it

4:45 on is what you need to know, although the whole video is worth a watch

I would like to see it as a once a year event held during the Motocross/Supercross offseason. Kinda like MEC or how Endurocross started.

Not only did Gomez pull over, which like whatever, we've seen that before, but he blatantly blocked another rider.... I forget his name... giving two positions to Haaker. It was super lame.

I've gone to all the EX races here in AZ and loved everyone of them. Every race here in AZ has been sold out and usually standing room only. As far as entertainment, I'm not sure how any serious dirt bike rider couldn't enjoy it in person. The skill level and balls the riders have are paramount. I'm super bummed the series is in limbo. Hopefully a solution presents itself and the series can go on. I do think it is a little bit like hockey in that its much better in person than on TV. Both have a lot going on and it can be hard to follow the leader at times. But if you like aggressive passing, crazy obstacles, and talented riders its great to watch.

Wow, that sucks. My youngest has gone all 6 years of his life. My two boys and I looked forward to it very October. That’s a bummer.

The problem is that you do not seem to have a conversation with anyone. In your short three months at Vital you just seem to post smart ass comments and or just bitch and complain in most all of your posts and when you are wrong then be a man and admit it an move on.

Yep, I liked going when they came to Denver. I still remember when there were several trials bikes running in the top 5.
