Tomac has been anointed by the fans as the next heir to the SX/MX Throne but the reality is he is just not good enough.
He is not in the same category as RC ,Poto,Dungey and Mcgrath. The racing public wants him to dominate but the reality is he can't attain that level.

he's an all timer outdoors, just better supercrossers during his era.
not that he couldn't win one in the future.
second place is the first loser, but really not a loser.
trey canard comes to mind.
Watching Tomac go down a couple times was wrenching, I hate watching a guy struggle but you knew that he was giving it 110%. Crush mentioned some of his off track issues, I am one of those guys that thinks the green bike doesn't suit him but what do I know? Is it the bike or just his ridiculous speed like JS7 that creates some of his mental errors?
Webb has earned this, the guy doesn't put a wheel wrong. The dirt was sketchy obviously as how many guys were tucking their front ends, but Coop spends his morning throwing up, then goes out and wins the main while his competition takes themselves out. I'm getting Dungey consistency flashbacks when I watch the guy ride, not good for the other guys on the gate.
Pit Row
OH and he STILL hasn't retaliated on musquin in any way shape or form since musquin cleaned him out at foxboro. I can't say I would be such a gentleman.
Tomac is alot of things, but dirty is not one of them. Not even close.
And hes made 0 contact with webb, and hes had PLENTY of opportunities to take out him out, and he hasn't. and Lets not forget that he never retaliated against musquin for the whole foxboro incident.
Tomac has to be one of the least dirty riders i've ever seen race. He literally goes out of his way to avoid contact 90% of the time.
But since you say tomac is such a dirty rider..... please please please show me a clip of him taking someone out, or tell me when you've seen it and to who..... because I'll bet you cant provide me a single incident of him taking out another rider on purpose..... You'd have to go back to his 250 days for that. and even then im not sure if its happened
He actually managed the championship really well and didn't have any terrible nights. He beat everyone this season that he had on his radar. Just so happens someone off the radar came up and eclipsed everyone, including Tomac.

All I know Is that one dude only gets a certain amount of luck in any one life and Tomac's has been nigh on empty.
The critical point of issue is Constant Damage Control, Dungey understood this best. Carmichael understood, Stewart never understood it and it sure looks like Tomac does not understand.
They are not choosing lottos numbers here, they have 20+2 to create their own luck with the Big picture being the Championship.
Webb has managed this season the best and deserves to be Champion.
