Official highlights.

Webb was not a happy bunny.

I learned two things.

1. They have Dollar Tree in Spain.
2. Their stores sell chain saws.

Just watched the whole highlight video.... insanely anti-climatic compared to how the OP described it.

That’s what makes the SX series so interesting, teammates going at it.

What would you do for $900,000 in SX?

I’m assuming a million for the championship and $100,000 for 2nd.

Endurocross riders are hard core martyrs. Great dismount.
Pretty premeditated.
Tomac minus Savatgy on last lap on Monster Energy Cup = $1Mil. There you go.

I'm still of the belief that happened to help the fan out that would get the $1M (or $500K lump sum). MEC is nothing but an exhibition event. I'm sure there was some back door agreement that they made. It's not like Tomac needed the $1M and he still would have won the overall anyway. It made for good TV and it got a lucky fan a bunch of cash. Hell, here we are still talking about it.......hellava lot more memorable than other MEC's

Not the way any real racer wants to win but just the fact that we call them a "team" and "teammates"" should not surprise any one. Again not condoning nor agreeing but there is money at stake and they took the low road

Many of you are missing what happened... this wasn’t a case of simply letting a teammate by. Haaker’s teammate (Alfredo Gomez) was in 3rd with a big gap over 4th (Pol Tarres), and on the last lap slowed way down to stop and block Tarres, so Haaker could go from 5th to 3rd in the very last turn.

Cody Webb was robbed. He rode like a champion in the last race of the season to earn that title, while Haaker made several huge mistakes under the pressure. Sad, dark day for the sport, no doubt.

Gomez was a fair bit ahead in 3rd, he pulled to the inside of the last turn and waited, and blocked Torres to the outside of the corner and held him pinned there until Haaker went by. It gave Colton 2 positions, I think he only needed one. If Gomez had just taken himself out, he might have gotten away with it, he must have assumed Colton needed 2 positions.

Why did Torres just sit there like he was in on it too? Would you not ram the guy trying to block you? It is SuperEnduro you know.

The end of that last race was strange...but...
I’ll hold out for the whole story...&...is it just me or did Taddy seem on a mission to block Colton?
Who knows?
I’m thinking there’s a few teams in that race with a “team strategy”.

From the very little we could see, it appeared as though Tarres was just sitting there. Seemed strange indeed. I'd have expected more of a RV/JLaw maneuver.

I'm not gonna judge him on any of the racing or blocking stuff cause it's big business and I don't really know or care much about it haha

Buuut I am gonna judge him about the carry on after he crossed the line! With the falling into the wall and collapsing and laying on the ground (Maybe so he didn't have to deal with Webb) haha lame drama

Very hard to prove of it was a team descision or a team mate going above and beyond.

I dont think Haaker deserves the hate, he rode his race and didnt really do anything wrong. His team and team mates is another story.
